Abstract
인돌로카르바졸 골격과, 그것에 직접 또는 2가의 기를 통해 결합하는 카르보란기를 하나 또는 둘 이상 가지는 카르보란 화합물로 이루어지는 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료이다. 또한, 이 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료를, 기판 상에 적층된 양극과 음극 사이에, 발광층을 포함하는 유기층을 가지는 유기 전계발광 소자의 유기층의 적어도 한 층에 포함하는 유기 전계발광 소자이다. 또한, 인광발광성 도펀트와 호스트 재료를 포함하는 발광층의 호스트 재료로, 이 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료를 포함하는 유기 전계발광 소자이다.

Claims (11)
- 하기 일반식 (1)로 나타내는 카르보란 화합물로 이루어지는 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료.
여기서, 환(環) A는 인접 환과 임의의 위치에서 축합하는 식 (1a)로 나타내는 방향족환을 나타내고, 환 B는 질소함유 5원환이 인접 환과 임의의 위치에서 축합하는 식 (1b)로 나타내는 복소환을 나타내며, X는 메틴 또는 질소 원자를 나타낸다.
환 Z는 식 (1c) 또는 식 (1d)로 나타내는 C2B10H10의 2가의 카르보란기를 나타내고, 분자 내에 환 Z가 복수 존재하는 경우는 동일하여도 되고 달라도 된다.
p, q, r, s는 반복의 수이고, m, n은 치환 수이며, p, q, r, s 및 m, n은 0~5의 정수이다. 단, q×m, r×n, p, 및 s 중의 어느 하나는 1 이상의 정수이다.
L1, L4는 각각 독립적으로, 단결합, 또는 치환 혹은 미(未)치환의 탄소 수 6~22의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~16의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 임의의 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되는 연결 방향족기를 나타내고, 연결 방향족기의 경우는 직쇄상이어도 되고 분기상이어도 된다.
L2, L3은 각각 독립적으로, 단결합, 또는 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~22의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~18의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 임의의 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되는 연결 방향족기를 나타내고, 연결 방향족기의 경우는 직쇄상이어도 되고 분기상이어도 된다.
R1, R5는, 각각 독립적으로, 수소, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~22의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~16의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 임의의 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되는 연결 방향족기를 나타내고, 연결 방향족기의 경우는 직쇄상이어도 되고 분기상이어도 된다.
R2, R3, R4는, 각각 독립적으로, 수소, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~22의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~18의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 치환 혹은 미치환의 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 임의의 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되는 연결 방향족기를 나타내고, 연결 방향족기의 경우는 직쇄상이어도 되고 분기상이어도 된다. - 제1항에 있어서,
X가 메틴인 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료. - 제1항에 있어서,
환 Z가, 식 (1c)로 나타내는 C2B10H10의 2가의 카르보란기인, 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료. - 제1항에 있어서,
일반식 (1)에 있어서, q 및 r이 0의 정수인, 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료. - 제1항에 있어서,
L1, L4가 각각 독립적으로, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~18의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~16의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되어 있는 연결 방향족기이며, L2, L3이 각각 독립적으로, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~18의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~18의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되어 있는 연결 방향족기인, 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료. - 제5항에 있어서,
L1, L4가 각각 독립적으로, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~16의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되어 있는 연결 방향족기이며, L2, L3이 각각 독립적으로, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~18의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되어 있는 연결 방향족기인, 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료. - 제1항에 있어서,
R1, R5가 각각 독립적으로, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~18의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~16의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되어 있는 연결 방향족기이며, R2, R3, R4가 각각 독립적으로, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 6~18의 방향족 탄화수소기, 치환 혹은 미치환의 탄소 수 3~18의 방향족 복소환기, 또는 상기 방향족 탄화수소기 및 상기 방향족 복소환기로부터 선택되는 방향족기가 2~6개 연결되어 구성되어 있는 연결 방향족기인, 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료. - 기판 상에, 양극, 유기층 및 음극이 적층되어 이루어지는 유기 전계발광 소자에 있어서, 상기 유기층의 적어도 한 층이 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 유기 전계발광 소자용 재료를 포함하는 유기층인 것을 특징으로 하는, 유기 전계발광 소자.
- 제8항에 있어서,
유기 전계발광 소자용 재료를 포함하는 유기층이, 발광층, 전자 수송층, 및 정공 저지층으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나의 층인, 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제8항에 있어서,
유기 전계발광 소자용 재료를 포함하는 유기층이, 인광발광 도펀트를 함유하는 발광층인 것을 특징으로 하는, 유기 전계발광 소자. - 제10항에 있어서,
인광발광 도펀트의 발광 파장이 600㎚ 이하로 발광 극대 파장을 가지는, 유기 전계발광 소자.
