Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재를 이용하여 NCM 복합황산염 용액을 제조하는 공정 중 칼슘 이온을 제거하는 공정도이다.
Claims (13)
- (a) 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재 산화물을 환원 분위기 하에서 산으로 침출하고 여과하는 단계;
(b) 상기 (a) 단계에서 분리된 여과액을 선택적 가수분해하여 금속성 불순물을 분리하는 단계;
(c) 상기 (b) 단계에서 얻은 여과액에 불소화합물을 투입하여 잔존하는 Ca 이온을 제거하는 단계;
(d) 상기 (c) 단계에서 얻은 여과액을 가수분해하여 리튬을 분리하고 케이크를 수득하는 단계; 및
(e) 상기 (d) 단계에서 얻은 케이크를 산으로 침출하고 여과하는 단계;를 포함하고,
상기 (c) 단계는, 불소화합물을 투입하여 여과액에 잔존하는 칼슘 이온을 불화칼슘으로 침전 분리하여 제거하되,
상기 불소화합물의 투입량은 여과액에 잔존하는 칼슘 이온의 몰수 대비 3배 내지 4배인 것을 특징으로 하는, 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재를 재생하여 니켈-코발트-망간 복합 황산염 용액을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 (a) 단계에서는, 염산 존재 하에 환원제로서 과산화수소를 반응조에 투입하여 75 ℃ 내지 85 ℃ 에서 180 분 내지 300 분 동안 침출 공정을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재를 재생하여 니켈-코발트-망간 복합 황산염 용액을 제조하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,
상기 과산화수소의 농도를 10 wt% 내지 35 wt% 로 조절하여 0.1 내지 5 LPM (Liter Per Minute)으로 투입하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재를 재생하여 니켈-코발트-망간 복합 황산염 용액을 제조하는 방법.
- 제2 항에 있어서,

- 제5항에 있어서,
상기 반응조는 내부 온도가 45℃ 내지 75℃ 이고, pH는 3.5 내지 5.0이며, 교반 속도는 180 내지 220 rpm인 것을 특징으로 하는, 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재를 재생하여 니켈-코발트-망간 복합 황산염 용액을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 금속성 불순물은, 알루미늄(Al), 철(Fe) 및 마그네슘(Mg)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1 종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 리튬이차전지 폐 양극재를 재생하여 니켈-코발트-망간 복합 황산염 용액을 제조하는 방법.
