Abstract
(b) 상기 알릴알코올을 포함하는 생성물에, 불균일계 촉매와 염기성 용액을 투입한 후, 이를 산화시켜 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산을 포함하는 혼합물을 제조하는 단계;
(c) 상기 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산 혼합물 중의 3-하이드록시프로피온산을 탈수 반응시켜 아크릴산을 제조하는 단계; 를 포함하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (24)
- (a) 글리세롤과 카르복실산을 포함하는 반응물로부터 알릴알코올을 포함하는 생성물을 제조하는 단계;
(b) 상기 알릴알코올을 포함하는 생성물에, 불균일계 촉매와 염기성 용액을 투입한 후, 이를 산화시켜 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산을 포함하는 혼합물을 제조하는 단계로,
상기 불균일계 촉매는 산화세륨(CeO2) 담지체에 5 nm 이하 크기의 금이 담지된 것을 특징으로 하는, 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산을 포함하는 혼합물을 제조하는 단계; 및
(c) 상기 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산 혼합물 중의 3-하이드록시프로피온산을 탈수 반응시켜 아크릴산을 제조하는 단계; 를 포함하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 삭제
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계 전에 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산 혼합물을 분리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (a) 단계에서, 글리세롤 1당량에 대하여, 카르복실산 0.5 내지 2 당량을 투입하고, 220 내지 260℃에서 반응시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (b) 단계의 산화는, 산소 또는 산소 포함 기체를 투입하여, 산소의 부분압력이 절대압력 기준으로 0.01 내지 50 기압이고, 10 내지 120℃에서 반응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 불균일계 촉매의 금은 담지체 총 건조 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 이하로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 삭제

상기 단계 (b)에서 투입되는 염기성 용액은 알칼리 금속 또는 알칼리 토금속을 포함하는 염기성 화합물을 물과 혼합하여 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 9에 있어서,
상기 염기성 화합물은 수산화나트륨, 수산화리튬, 수산화칼륨 및 수산화칼슘으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (a) 단계에서 상기 카르복실산은 포름산인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 11에 있어서,
상기 포름산은 포름산염 또는 포름산에스테르로부터 제조된 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 12에 있어서,
상기 포름산염은 다가 알코올(polyhydric alcohol) 생산 과정에서 생성되는 부산물인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 13에 있어서,
상기 다가 알코올은 펜타에리스리톨(pentaerythritol), 트리메틸올에탄(trimethylolethane), 트리메틸올프로판(trimethylolpropane), 네오펜틸글리콜(neopentyl glycol)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 12에 있어서,
상기 포름산에스테르는 포름산메틸(methyl formate) 또는 포름산에틸(ethyl formate)인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (a) 단계에서 생성되는 알릴알코올의 함량이 알릴알코올을 포함하는 생성물 총 중량에 대하여 30 중량% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 3에 있어서,
상기 3-하이드록시프로피온산 및 아크릴산 혼합물을 분리하는 단계는 추출, 결정화, 증류 중에서 선택된 1종 이상을 포함하는 방법을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 17에 있어서,
상기 분리된 3-하이드록시프로피온산 또는 아크릴산의 순도가 70% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계는 70 내지 300℃에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계는 산성 촉매 또는 염기성 촉매를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 20에 있어서,
상기 산성 촉매는 천연 또는 합성 규토질 재료 또는 산성 제올라이트, 헤테로폴리산, 산성 이온교환 수지를 포함하는 촉매; 크롬, 망간, 철, 코발트, 니켈, 붕소, 란타늄, 칼슘, 스트론튬, 바륨, 몰리브데늄, 루테늄 금속 중 선택된 1종 이상의 물질을 포함하는 금속 인산염 촉매 및 TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2, SiO2-Al2O3 담체에 담지된 금속 인산염 촉매; TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2, ZrO2, SnO2, Ta2O3, Nb2O5, SiO2-Al2O3 중 선택된 1종 이상의 금속 산화물; ZrO2-SO4, ZrO2-PO4, ZrO2-WO3, ZrO2-SiO2, TiO2-SO4, TnO2-SO4, H3PO4-Al2O3, H3PO4-SiO2, H3PO4-ZrO2 중 선택된 1종을 포함하는 복합 산화물; 염산, 황산, 질산, 인산 등의 무기산 중 선택된 1종 이상의 물질을 포함하는 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 20에 있어서,
상기 염기성 촉매는 알칼리 금속 또는 알칼리토 금속의 산화물, 또는 수산화물; 트리메틸아민(trimethylamine), 트리에틸아민(triethylamine) 또는 트리도데실아민(tridodecyl amine)으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 아민류; 및 염기성 이온 교환으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 물질을 포함하는 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 20에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계는 회분식 반응기, 반회분식 반응기, 연속교반탱크 반응기, 플러그 흐름 반응기, 고정상 반응기 및 유동층 반응기로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나의 반응기 또는 이들 중 2 이상을 연결한 혼합 반응기에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계의 3-하이드록시프로피온산으로부터 아크릴산의 생산 수율이 80 % 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 글리세롤로부터 아크릴산을 제조하는 방법.
