Claims (44)
- 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션으로서,종방향(x)에 직교하는 방향을 횡방향(y)으로, 종방향(x)과 횡방향(y) 모두에 직교하는 방향을 수직방향(z)으로 정의할 때, 종방향(x)으로 연장되는 종축을 갖고, 수직방향(z)으로 연장되는 딤플 축(dimple axis)을 한정하는 로드빔 딤플을 구비하는 로드빔;로드빔에 장착되며, 전연부와 전연부로부터 종방향으로 간격을 두고 배치되어 있는 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼을 구비한 설형부를 갖는 플렉셔(flexure);슬라이더 부착 플랫폼에 장착되고 딤플 축을 중심으로 회전 가능한 슬라이더;플렉셔를 따라 연장되고 슬라이더와 통전되어 있으며, 횡방향으로 설형부의 바깥쪽에 있는 트레이스 아웃리거부를 갖는 트레이스(trace); 및딤플 축을 중심으로 슬라이더를 선택적으로 회전시키도록, 플렉셔의 설형부에 위치하고 전연부와 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼 사이에서 연장되는 마이크로액추에이터를 포함하는 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 딤플 축에 있어서 플렉셔와 슬라이더 사이에 위치하는 폴리이미드 딤플과, 슬라이더와 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼 사이에 위치하는 하나 이상의 경 질의 구조용 접착 패드를 더 포함하는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제2항에 있어서, 수직방향으로 트레이스와 슬라이더 사이에 장착되는 외측 정합 패드와, 횡방향으로 외측의 정합 패드들 사이에 위치하고 종방향으로 폴리이미드 딤플에 인접하게 장착되는 중앙 정합 패드를 더 포함하는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 마이크로액추에이터는 압전 작동 장치를 포함하는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제4항에 있어서, 압전 작동 장치는, 종방향으로 연장되며 압전 힌지를 통해 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼에 접속되는 복수 개의 압전체와, 설형부에 있어서 횡방향으로 한 쌍의 압전체와 압전 힌지 사이에 형성되고 딤플 축에 배치되는 플렉셔 힌지를 포함하는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 압전체의 선단은 전연부에 고정되고, 압전체의 후단은 압전 힌지에 고정되는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 압전 힌지와 플렉셔 힌지가 종방향으로 배열되어 있는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 압전체는 종방향으로 연장되지만, 압전체가 종축에 대하여 종방향으로 대칭이도록, 각 압전체는 종축에 대해 5°미만의 각도를 이루어 배향되는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 압전체는 x-y면을 갖고, 이 x-y면은 x-y면에 평행한 폴리이미드층에 접하여 공진을 감쇠시키며, 압전체는 전연부에 접속되는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 로드빔에 대한 압전체의 수직방향 간극을 추가적으로 제공하도록, 로드빔 딤플이 7.5 미크론 정도의 수직방향 치수를 갖는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제9항에 있어서, 폴리이미드층의 횡방향 치수는 압전체들의 횡방향 치수의 합보다 크고, 폴리이미드층은 설형부의 복수의 강철부에 고정되며, 폴리이미드층은 슬라이더와 접촉하지 않는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 각 압전체는 길이 1 ㎜, 폭 0.220 ㎜ 및 두께 40 내지 60 미크론 정도의 치수를 갖는 직사각형 블럭을 포함하고, 설형부의 강철층이 20 미크론 정도의 두께를 갖는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 로드빔에 대한 각 압전체의 수직방향 최소 간극이 30 미크론 정도로 제공되고, 슬라이더는 로딩/언로딩 과정을 용납하도록 1.5°의 공칭 피치 회전 범위를 갖는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 압전체는 압전체 내의 도전층에 인가되는 전압에 의해 작동되고, 각 압전체는 복수의 층을 포함하며, 한 압전체는 팽창하고 다른 압전체는 수축하여 슬라이더를 딤플 축을 중심으로 회전시키도록, 압전체들에 반대 극성의 전압이 인가되는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제14항에 있어서, 압전체의 후단에는 트레이스를 통해 전기 에너지가 제공되고, 압전체의 선단은 구리 비아를 통해 플렉셔의 강철층에 직접적으로 접지되는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제15항에 있어서, 플렉셔는 횡방향으로 압전체와 트레이스 아웃리거부 사이에 위치하는 강철 아웃리거를 포함하고, 강철 아웃리거는 종방향으로 압전체의 후단 너머로 연장되어 반환부를 형성하며, 강철 아웃리거는 그 반환부로부터 전연부까지에 있어서 종방향에서의 방향이 반대가 되고, 압전체의 선단에 부착되는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제5항에 있어서, 플렉셔는 x-y 평면에서 연장되는 하면을 갖는 강철층을 구비하고, 압전체는 x-y 평면에서 연장되는 하면을 구비하며, 플렉셔 강철층의 하면과 압전체의 하면이 동일 평면 상에 있는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 설형부의 후연에 있는 후연 리미터와, 설형부의 전연부로부터 연장되는 전연 리미터를 더 포함하며, 전연 리미터는 로드빔에 형성된 창을 통해 돌출하는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제18항에 있어서, 창의 후연이 횡방향으로 연장되고, 창의 후연은 압전체의 종방향 중간부 위에 인접하게 위치하며, 로드빔에 대한 압전체의 선단의 수직방향 간극을 제공하도록, 창의 전연이 창의 후연으로부터 종방향으로 간격을 두고 배치되고, 창의 횡방향 치수가 압전체들의 횡방향 치수의 합보다 큰 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제19항에 있어서, 창은 창의 후연으로부터 종방향으로 연장되는 탭을 구비하고, 탭의 중심선이 수직방향에 있어서 압전체의 중심선 위에 위치하며, 압전체의 임의의 수직방향 변형에 의해, 압전체가 압전체의 횡방향 측연부로부터 떨어져 있는 탭에 접촉하게 되도록, 탭의 횡방향 치수가 압전체보다 좁은 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 트레이스 아웃리거부는 설형부의 후연 리미터에 수렴하고, 트레이스 넥의 폭을 한정하도록 종방향으로 슬라이더를 향해 연장된 후에, 트레이스 넥의 폭보다 큰 트레이스 슬라이더의 폭을 한정하도록 트레이스 넥의 폭에서부터 슬라이더까지 횡방향으로 발산하는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 제1항에 있어서, 슬라이더는 데이터를 자기 디스크로부터 판독하기 위한 트랜스듀서를 구비하고, 마이크로액추에이터는 슬라이더를 딤플 축을 중심으로 +/- 0.02°만큼 회전시키며, 트랜스듀서를 종축에 대해 +/- 0.16 미크론 만큼 횡방향으로 병진시키는 것인 하드 디스크 드라이브용 서스펜션.
- 자기 매체 디스크가 회전 가능하게 장착되어 있는 인클로져(enclosure);인클로져에 이동 가능하게 장착된 액추에이터; 및액추에이터에 장착되는 서스펜션으로서,종방향(x)에 직교하는 방향을 횡방향(y)으로, 종방향(x)과 횡방향(y)모두에 직교하는 방향을 수직방향(z)으로 정의할 때, 종방향(x)으로연장되는 종축을 갖고, 수직방향(z)으로 연장되는 딤플 축을 한정하는로드빔 딤플을 구비하는 로드빔;로드빔에 장착되며, 전연부와, 전연부로부터 종방향으로 간격을 두고배치되어 있는 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼을 구비한 설형부를 갖는 플렉셔;슬라이더 부착 플랫폼에 장착되고, 데이터를 자기 매체 디스크로부터판독하기 위한 트랜스듀서를 구비하며, 딤플 축을 중심으로 회전할 수있는 슬라이더;플렉셔를 따라 연장되고 슬라이더와 통전되어 있으며, 횡방향으로설형부의 바깥쪽에 있는 트레이스 아웃리거부를 갖는 트레이스; 및딤플 축을 중심으로 슬라이더를 선택적으로 회전시키도록, 플렉셔의설형부에 위치하고 전연부와 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼 사이에서 연장되는마이크로액추에이터를 구비하는 것인 서스펜션을 포함하는 디스크 드라이브.
- 제23항에 있어서, 딤플 축에 있어서 플렉셔와 슬라이더 사이에 위치하는 폴리이미드 딤플과, 슬라이더와 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼 사이에 위치하는 하나 이상의 경질의 구조용 접착 패드를 더 포함하는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제24항에 있어서, 수직방향으로 트레이스와 슬라이더 사이에 장착되는 외측 정합 패드와, 횡방향으로 외측의 정합 패드들 사이에 위치하고 종방향으로 폴리이미드 딤플에 인접하게 장착되는 중앙 정합 패드를 더 포함하는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제23항에 있어서, 마이크로액추에이터는 압전 작동 장치를 포함하는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제26항에 있어서, 압전 작동 장치는, 종방향으로 연장되며 압전 힌지를 통해 슬라이더 부착 플랫폼에 접속되는 복수 개의 압전체와, 설형부에 있어서 횡방향으로 한 쌍의 압전체와 압전 힌지 사이에 형성되고 딤플 축에 배치되는 플렉셔 힌지를 포함하는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제27항에 있어서, 압전체의 선단은 전연부에 고정되고, 압전체의 후단은 압전 힌지에 고정되는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제27항에 있어서, 압전 힌지와 플렉셔 힌지가 종방향으로 배열되어 있는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제27항에 있어서, 압전체는 종방향으로 연장되지만, 압전체가 종축에 대하여 종방향으로 대칭이도록, 각 압전체는 종축에 대해 5°미만의 각도를 이루어 배향되는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
- 제27항에 있어서, 압전체는 x-y면을 갖고, 이 x-y면은 x-y면에 평행한 폴리이미드층에 접하여 공진을 감쇠시키며, 압전체는 전연부에 접속되는 것인 디스크 드라이브.
