- 화소 영역이 정의된 베이스 기판, 및 상기 화소 영역에 형성되고, 제1 폭을 가지며 상기 제1 폭과 실질적으로 동일하거나 큰간격으로 이격되어 배치된 복수의 제1 전극부들, 상기 제1 폭과 다른 제2 폭을 가지며 상기 제2 폭과 실질적으로 동일하거나 큰 간격으로 이격되어 배치된 복수의 제2 전극부들과, 상기 제1 전극부들 및 상기 제2 전극부들을 전기적으로 직접 연결하며, 콘택홀을 통하여 드레인 전극과 직접 연결되는 제1 연결 전극부로 이루어진 화소전극을 포함하는 표시기판;상기 표시기판과 대향하며 공통 전극을 포함하는 대향기판; 및상기 표시기판과 상기 대향기판 사이에 개재되는 액정층을 포함하고,상기 화소 영역은 제1 서브 영역과 상기 제1 서브 영역과 인접하는 제2 서브 영역으로 양분되고,상기 제1 전극부들은 상기 제1 서브 영역에만 배치되고, 상기 제2 전극부들은 상기 제2 서브 영역에만 배치되어,각각의 서브 영역에는 동일한 폭 및 동일한 간격을 갖는 전극부들이 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제1 폭(W1)은 2.5㎛ < W1 < 8㎛이고, 상기 제2 폭(W2)은 1㎛ < W2 < 2.5㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 표시기판 및 상기 대향 기판은 상기 액정층의 액정 들을 배향시키는 배향막; 및상기 액정층과 상기 배향막 사이에 형성된 선경사각을 갖는 RM(Reactive Mesogen) 경화층을 더 포함하는 액정표시패널.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 표시기판은 서로 교차하는 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인에 연결된 스위칭 소자를 더 포함하고,상기 화소 전극은 상기 스위칭 소자와 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 화소 전극은,상기 제1 연결 전극부와 교차하는 방향으로 연장된 제2 연결 전극부를 더 포함하며,상기 제1 및 제2 전극부들은 상기 제1 및 제2 연결 전극부들로부터 다른 방 향으로 연장되어 복수의 도메인들을 정의하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 제1 서브 영역의 면적과 상기 제2 서브 영역의 면적은 서로 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 화소 전극은,상기 제1 서브 영역에 상기 제1 연결 전극부와 교차하도록 형성된 제2 연결 전극부; 및상기 제2 서브 영역에 상기 제1 연결 전극부와 교차하도록 형성된 제3 연결 전극부를 더 포함하며,상기 제1 및 제2 전극부들은 상기 제1 내지 제3 연결 전극부들로부터 다른 방향으로 연장되어 복수의 도메인들을 정의하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 제1 서브 영역의 면적과 상기 제2 서브 영역의 면적은 서로 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
