Claims (12)
- 서로 대향되는 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판;상기 제 1 기판 및 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 개재되는 다수 개의 화소 전극들;상기 화소 전극들에 이격되며, 상기 화소 전극들과 전계를 형성하는 다수 개의 공통 전극들;상기 제 1 기판 및 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 개재되는 액정층;상기 화소 전극들에 데이터 신호들을 인가하는 세그 드라이버;표시 기간에 상기 공통 전극들에 제 1 전압 신호들을 인가하는 커먼 드라이버; 및리셋 기간에 상기 공통 전극들에 제 2 전압 신호를 인가하는 전원공급부를 포함하고,상기 표시기간에 상기 데이터 신호와 상기 제1 전압 신호간의 전위차는 상기 리셋 기간의 상기 데이터 신호와 상기 제2 전압 신호 간의 전위차에 대응하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 액정층은 임계수치 이상의 전계에 의해서 광학적 특성이 변하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 공통 전극들 및 상기 전원공급부를 선택적으로 전기적으로 연결하는 스위칭 소자들을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 전압 신호는 상기 제 1 전압 신호의 두 배 이상 큰 전압인 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 액정층은 상기 화소 전극들 및 상기 공통 전극들 사이에 개재되고,상기 화소 전극들에 상기 전계를 형성하기 위해서 상기 데이터 신호들이 인가되며,상기 리셋 기간 동안 상기 액정층은 동일한 광학적 특성을 가지는액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 화소 전극들은 제 1 방향으로 연장되며, 상기 공통 전극들은 상기 화소 전극들과 교차하여 제 2 방향으로 연장되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 기판 및 상기 제 2 기판은 매트릭스 형태의 화소 영역들을 정의하며,상기 화소 전극들 및 상기 공통 전극들은 상기 화소 영역들에 대응하며 배치되며,각각의 컬럼에 배치되는 화소 전극들은 서로 전기적으로 연결되고,각각의 로우에 배치되는 공통 전극들은 서로 전기적으로 연결되는 액정표시장치.
- 다수 개의 제 1 화소 영역들에 배치되는 제 1 화소 전극들;다수 개의 제 2 화소 영역들에 배치되는 제 2 화소 전극들;상기 화소 전극들에 데이터 신호들을 인가하는 세그 드라이버;상기 제 1 화소 영역들에 배치되고, 서로 전기적으로 연결되며, 상기 제 1 화소 전극들과 대향하는 제 1 공통 전극들;상기 제 2 화소 영역들에 배치되며, 서로 전기적으로 연결되며, 상기 제 2 화소 전극들과 대향하는 제 2 공통 전극들;표시 기간에 상기 제 1 공통 전극들 및 상기 제 2 공통 전극들에 순차적으로 제 1 전압 신호들을 인가하는 커먼 드라이버; 및리셋 기간에 상기 제 1 공통 전극들 및 상기 제 2 공통 전극들에 동시에 제 2 전압 신호를 인가하는 전원공급부를 포함하고,상기 표시기간에 상기 데이터 신호와 상기 제1 전압 신호간의 전위차는 상기 리셋 기간의 상기 데이터 신호와 상기 제2 전압 신호 간의 전위차에 대응하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 공통 전극들 및 상기 커먼 드라이버를 선택적으로 전기적으로 연결하는 제 1 스위칭 소자; 및상기 제 2 공통 전극들 및 상기 커먼 드라이버를 선택적으로 전기적으로 연결하는 제 2 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 공통 전극들 및 상기 전원공급부를 선택적으로 전기적으로 연결하는 제 3 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 공통 전극들 및 상기 제 2 공통 전극들을 선 택적으로 전기적으로 연결하는 제 4 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자, 상기 제 2 스위칭 소자, 상기 제 3 스위칭 소자 및 상기 제 4 스위칭 소자를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
