Claims (20)
- 하기를 포함하는 향상된 단열 특성을 갖는 접착제 조성물:
a. 20 내지 40 중량% 의 전분 성분으로서, 상기 전분 성분은 50 % 초과의 아밀로오스 함량을 갖는 전분 조성물을 포함함;
b. 알칼리 성분;
c. 사붕산 나트륨;
d. 물; 및
e. 0.5 내지 5 중량% 의 복수의 팽창성 마이크로스피어;
상기 마이크로스피어의 최대 팽창 온도는, 접착제 조성물의 완전한 응결 온도보다 20℉ 내지 40℉ 낮음. - 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 전분 성분이 비변성 전분 조성물을 추가로 포함하는 접착제 조성물.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 접착제 조성물이, 비변성 전분 조성물을 접착제 조성물의 약 20 중량% 양으로 포함하고, 50 % 초과의 아밀로오스 함량을 갖는 전분 조성물을 접착제 조성물의 약 4 중량% 양으로 포함하는 접착제 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 알칼리 성분이 수산화나트륨을 포함하는 접착제 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 팽창성 마이크로스피어가 열 및/또는 방사선의 존재 하에 팽창하여 단열 폼을 형성하는 중합체 마이크로스피어를 포함하는 접착제 조성물.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 팽창성 마이크로스피어가 약 180℉ 내지 약 210℉ 의 온도에서 팽창하기 시작하는 접착제 조성물.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 팽창성 마이크로스피어가 약 250℉ 내지 약 280℉ 의 온도에서 최대 팽창 수준을 갖는 접착제 조성물.
- 삭제
- 하기 단계를 포함하는 향상된 단열 특성을 갖는 골이 진 제품의 제조 방법:
a. 실질적으로 평면이면서 제 1 면 및 제 2 면을 갖는 제 1 종이 라이너를 제공하는 단계;
b. 각각 정점 및 저점이 있는 복수의 플루트를 갖는 제 2 종이 라이너를 제공하는 단계;
c. 하기 단계를 포함하는 향상된 단열 특성을 갖는 접착제 조성물의 제조 단계:
i. 50 % 초과의 아밀로오스 함량을 갖는 전분 성분, 알칼리 성분, 가교제, 및 물을 조합하여 전분 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
ii. 전분 혼합물을 열처리하여 열처리된 전분 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
iii. 비변성 전분 성분을 열처리된 전분 혼합물에 첨가하는 단계; 및
iv. 복수의 팽창성 마이크로스피어를 열처리된 전분 혼합물에 첨가하는 단계;
d. 접착제 조성물을 각 플루트의 정점에 적용하는 단계;
e. 플루트의 정점을 평면의 종이 라이너의 제 1 면의 표면과 합치시켜 제 1 종이 라이너 및 제 2 종이 라이너가 플루트의 정점에서 서로 접촉된 복합 구조를 형성하는 단계; 및
f. 접착제 조성물을 제 1 온도 및 제 2 온도로 가열함으로써 복합 구조로 경화시키는 단계 (상기 제 1 온도 및 제 2 온도가 약 20℉ 내지 약 40℉ 차이가 남). - 제 10 항에 있어서, 실질적으로 평평한 종이 라이너의 제 1 면에 플루트의 첨단을 위치시키는 단계가 제 1 면에 첨단을 고정하기 위해 압력을 사용하는 것을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 제 1 온도가 약 138℉ 내지 약 156℉ 인 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 제 2 온도가 약 180℉ 내지 약 210℉ 인 방법.
- 하기 단계를 포함하는 단열 시트의 제조 방법:
a. 제 1 면 및 제 2 면을 갖고, 제 1 면이 단열 성분을 수용하는데 충분한 구조의 표면을 갖는 실질적인 평면의 종이 시트를 제공하는 단계;
b. 하기 단계를 포함하는 접착제 조성물의 제조 단계:
i. 50 % 초과의 아밀로오스 함량을 갖는 전분 성분, 알칼리 성분, 가교제, 및 물을 조합하여 전분 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
ii. 전분 혼합물을 열처리하여 열처리된 전분 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
iii. 비변성 전분 성분을 열처리된 전분 혼합물에 첨가하는 단계; 및
iv. 복수의 팽창성 마이크로스피어를 열처리된 전분 혼합물에 첨가하는 단계;
c. 접착제 조성물을 실질적인 평면의 종이 시트의 제 1 면의 표면에 적용하여 적용된 접착제 조성물을 갖는 시트를 형성하는 단계;
d. 적용된 접착제 조성물을 갖는 시트를 팽창성 마이크로스피어가 팽창하는데 충분한 제 1 온도로 가열하는 단계; 및
e. 적용된 접착제 조성물을 갖는 시트를 접착제 조성물이 완전히 경화하는데 충분한 제 2 온도로 가열하는 단계. - 제 14 항에 있어서, 전분 성분으로서 팽창성 마이크로스피어가 팽창하는 온도 이상의 온도에서 전분 성분의 완전한 젤라틴화가 가능한 것이 선택되는 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 전분 성분이 비변성 전분, 및 50 % 초과의 아밀로오스 함량을 갖는 전분의 혼합물을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 실질적으로 평평한 종이 시트의 제 1 면에 접착제 조성물을 적용하는 단계가, 점, 줄무늬, 물결무늬, 격자 패턴, 실질적으로 평평한 바닥을 갖는 임의의 일반적인 다면체 형태, 원기둥, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 배열로 복수의 팽창성 마이크로스피어가 적용되도록 접착제 조성물을 적용하는 것을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 제 1 온도가 접착제 조성물이 완전히 경화되는데 불충분한 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 제 1 온도가 약 180℉ 내지 약 210℉ 인 방법.
