Abstract
Description
Claims (9)
- 액정패널의 화소에 입력될 데이터를 공급하는 입력부;상기 입력부로부터 입력된 화소 데이터를 오버 드라이빙 보상하는 오버 드라이빙 보상부;상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터와 상기 오버 드라이빙 보상부로부터의 보상 데이터 중 어느 하나를 선택하는 선택부; 및상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터의 움직임의 여부를 감지하여 상기 선택부를 제어하는 선택 제어부;를 포함하고,상기 선택 제어부는,상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터를 1 프레임동안 지연시키는 프레임 지연기;상기 프레임 지연기로부터 지연된 데이터 및 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터를 이용해서 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터의 움직임값을 검출하는 움직임 검출부; 및상기 움직임 검출부에서 검출된 움직임값과 미리 설정된 기준 움직임값을 비교하여 그 비교결과에 따라 제 1 및 제 2 논리의 제어신호를 생성하는 비교부;를 포함하고,상기 선택부는 상기 화소 데이터와 보상 데이터를 입력받고, 상기 제어신호에 따라 상기 화소 데이터와 보상 데이터 중 어느 하나를 선택적으로 출력하며,상기 움직임 검출부는 상기 프레임 지연기의 출력단과 상기 비교부의 입력단 사이에 직접 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 선택 제어부는 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터의 움직임이 있는 경우 상기 선택부가 상기 오버 드라이빙 보상부로부터 공급된 보상 데이터를 선택하게 하고, 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터의 움직임이 없는 경우 상기 선택부가 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터를 선택하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 선택부는,상기 제1 논리의 제어신호가 입력되는 경우 상기 오버 드라이빙 보상부로부터의 보상 데이터를 선택하고,상기 제2 논리의 제어신호가 입력되는 경우 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터를 선택하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 움직임 검출부는 수평방향으로 상기 입력부로부터의 화소 데이터의 움직임값을 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 기준 움직임값은 영상이 4개의 화소를 이동한 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
