- 면내 방향에서의 지상축 방향의 굴절률 nx와 면내 방향에서의 진상축 방향의 굴절률 ny 사이에 nx>ny의 관계가 성립하는 광학 이방성 필름, 및상기 광학 이방성 필름 상에 형성되고, 액정 재료를 함유하며, 면내 방향에서 서로 직교하는 임의의 x, y 방향의 굴절률 nx, ny와, 두께 방향의 굴절률 nz 사이에 nx≤ny<nz의 관계가 성립하는 위상차층을 갖는 위상차 필름이며,상기 광학 이방성 필름에 셀룰로오스 유도체를 포함하는 투명 기판이 이용되고,상기 광학 이방성 필름이 상기 투명 기판, 및 상기 투명 기판 상에 형성되고 우레탄계 수지를 함유하는 광학 이방성층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름.
- 면내 방향에서의 지상축 방향의 굴절률 nx와 면내 방향에서의 진상축 방향의 굴절률 ny 사이에 nx>ny의 관계가 성립하는 광학 이방성 필름, 및상기 광학 이방성 필름 상에 형성되고, 액정 재료를 함유하며, 면내 방향에서 서로 직교하는 임의의 x, y 방향의 굴절률 nx, ny와, 두께 방향의 굴절률 nz 사이에 nx≤ny<nz의 관계가 성립하는 위상차층을 갖는 위상차 필름이며,상기 광학 이방성 필름에 셀룰로오스 유도체를 포함하는 투명 기판이 이용되고,상기 광학 이방성 필름이 상기 투명 기판, 및 상기 투명 기판 상에 형성되고, 상기 투명 기판을 구성하는 셀룰로오스 유도체, 및 리타데이션의 파장 의존성이 리타데이션이 장파장측보다 단파장측 쪽이 큰 정분산형을 나타내는 광학 이방성 재료를 함유하는 광학 이방성층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 광학 이방성 재료에 분자 내에 단일 중합성 관능기를 갖는 단관능 중합성 액정 화합물이 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 셀룰로오스 유도체가 트리아세틸셀룰로오스인 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 기재된 위상차 필름, 및 상기 위상차 필름이 구비하는 상기 위상차층 상에 형성되고, 콜레스테릭 배열된 액정 재료를 함유하는 콜레스테릭 액정층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 휘도 향상 필름.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 기재된 위상차 필름, 상기 위상차 필름이 구비하는 상기 광학 이방성 필름 상이며, 상기 위상차층이 형성된 측과는 반대측의 면 상에 형성된 편광자, 및 상기 편광자 상에 형성된 편광판 보호 필름을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제6항에 기재된 휘도 향상 필름, 상기 휘도 향상 필름이 구비하는 상기 광학 이방성 필름 상이며, 상기 위상차층이 형성된 측과는 반대측의 면 상에 형성된 편광자, 및 상기 편광자 상에 형성된 편광판 보호 필름을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 편광판 보호 필름이 시클로올레핀계 수지 또는 아크릴계 수지를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 셀룰로오스 유도체를 포함하는 투명 기판을 이용하고, 상기 투명 기판 상에 리타데이션의 파장 의존성이 리타데이션이 장파장측보다 단파장측 쪽이 큰 정분산형을 나타내는 광학 이방성 재료가 용매에 용해된 광학 이방성층 형성용 도공액을 도공함으로써, 상기 투명 기판 상에 광학 이방성층이 형성된 광학 이방성 필름을 형성하는 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 의해서 형성된 광학 이방성 필름을 연신하는 연신 공정, 및상기 연신 공정에 의해서 연신된 광학 이방성 필름의 광학 이방성층 상에 액정 재료를 함유하고, 면내 방향에서 서로 직교하는 임의의 x, y 방향의 굴절률 nx, ny와, 두께 방향의 굴절률 nz 사이에 nx≤ny<nz의 관계가 성립하는 위상차층을 형성하는 위상차층 형성 공정을 갖고,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 있어서, 상기 투명 기판을 구성하는 셀룰로오스 유도체, 및 상기 광학 이방성 재료를 함유하는 상기 광학 이방성층을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 셀룰로오스 유도체를 포함하는 투명 기판을 이용하고, 상기 투명 기판 상에 리타데이션의 파장 의존성이 리타데이션이 장파장측보다 단파장측 쪽이 큰 정분산형을 나타내는 광학 이방성 재료가 용매에 용해된 광학 이방성층 형성용 도공액을 도공함으로써, 상기 투명 기판 상에 광학 이방성층이 형성된 광학 이방성 필름을 형성하는 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 의해서 형성된 광학 이방성 필름의 광학 이방성층 상에 액정 재료를 함유하고, 면내 방향에서 서로 직교하는 임의의 x, y 방향의 굴절률 nx, ny와, 두께 방향의 굴절률 nz 사이에 nx≤ny<nz의 관계가 성립하는 위상차층을 형성함으로써, 상기 광학 이방성층 상에 위상차층이 형성된 광학 적층체를 형성하는 위상차층 형성 공정, 및상기 위상차층 형성 공정에 의해서 형성된 광학 적층체를 연신하는 연신 공정을 갖고,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 있어서, 상기 투명 기판을 구성하는 셀룰로오스 유도체, 및 상기 광학 이방성 재료를 함유하는 상기 광학 이방성층을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 셀룰로오스 유도체를 포함하는 투명 기판을 이용하고, 상기 투명 기판 상에 리타데이션의 파장 의존성이 리타데이션이 장파장측보다 단파장측 쪽이 큰 정분산형을 나타내는 광학 이방성 재료가 용매에 용해된 광학 이방성층 형성용 도공액을 도공함으로써, 상기 투명 기판 상에 광학 이방성층이 형성된 광학 이방성 필름을 형성하는 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 의해서 형성된 광학 이방성 필름을 연신하는 연신 공정, 및상기 연신 공정에 의해서 연신된 광학 이방성 필름의 상기 광학 이방성층이 형성된 면과는 반대측의 면 상에 액정 재료를 함유하고, 면내 방향에서 서로 직교하는 임의의 x, y 방향의 굴절률 nx, ny와, 두께 방향의 굴절률 nz 사이에 nx≤ny<nz의 관계가 성립하는 위상차층을 형성하는 위상차층 형성 공정을 갖고,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 있어서, 상기 투명 기판을 구성하는 셀룰로오스 유도체, 및 상기 광학 이방성 재료를 함유하는 상기 광학 이방성층을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 셀룰로오스 유도체를 포함하는 투명 기판을 이용하고, 상기 투명 기판 상에 리타데이션의 파장 의존성이 리타데이션이 장파장측보다 단파장측 쪽이 큰 정분산형을 나타내는 광학 이방성 재료가 용매에 용해된 광학 이방성층 형성용 도공액을 도공함으로써, 상기 투명 기판 상에 광학 이방성층이 형성된 광학 이방성 필름을 형성하는 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 의해서 형성된 광학 이방성 필름의 상기 광학 이방성층이 형성된 면과는 반대측의 면 상에 액정 재료를 함유하고, 면내 방향에서 서로 직교하는 임의의 x, y 방향의 굴절률 nx, ny와, 두께 방향의 굴절률 nz 사이에 nx≤ny<nz의 관계가 성립하는 위상차층을 형성함으로써, 상기 광학 이방성층 상에 위상차층이 형성된 광학 적층체를 형성하는 위상차층 형성 공정, 및상기 위상차층 형성 공정에 의해서 형성된 광학 적층체를 연신하는 연신 공정을 갖고,상기 광학 이방성 필름 형성 공정에 있어서, 상기 투명 기판을 구성하는 셀룰로오스 유도체, 및 상기 광학 이방성 재료를 함유하는 상기 광학 이방성층을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 용매에 비점이 100 ℃ 이상인 케톤계 용매가 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 케톤계 용매가 시클로펜타논 또는 시클로헥사논인 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 셀룰로오스 유도체가 트리아세틸셀룰로오스인 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제2항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 위상차 필름이 이용된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 기재된 휘도 향상 필름이 이용된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 기재된 편광판이 이용된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 위상차 필름의 제조 방법에 의해서 제조된 위상차 필름이 이용된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
