Claims (16)
- 박막트랜지스터와 상기 박막트랜지스터에 전기적으로 연결되어 있는 화소전극을 포함하는 복수의 화소가 형성되어 있는 제1기판을 포함하는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제1기판은,서로 절연교차하는 게이트선 및 데이터선과;상기 게이트선에 게이트 구동신호를 인가하는 게이트 구동부를 포함하며,상기 박막트랜지스터는,상기 게이트선에 연결되어 있는 게이트 전극;상기 데이터선에 연결되어 있는 소스 전극;상기 화소전극에 연결되어 있는 드레인 전극을 포함하며,상기 화소의 Cp/(Cp+Clc+Cst) 값(여기서, Cp는 상기 게이트 전극과 상기 소스 전극간의 기생용량 + 상기 게이트 전극과 상기 드레인 전극간의 기생용량, Clc는 액정용량, Cst는 저장용량)은 해당하는 상기 게이트 구동부에 인접할수록 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하며,상기 박막트랜지스터는 U자 형태의 채널영역을 가지며,상기 게이트 전극과 소스 전극이 마주하는 면적은 해당하는 상기 게이트 구동부에 인접할수록 작아지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화소의 저장용량은 일정한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화소의 저장용량은 해당하는 상기 게이트 구동부에 인접할수록 커지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항 또는 제5항에 있어서,상기 화소는 Cp/(Cp+Clc+Cst)값이 동일한 복수의 블록으로 나누어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제5항에 있어서,상기 제1기판과 대면하며 공통전극이 형성되어 있는 제2기판과;상기 제1기판 및 상기 제2기판 사이에 위치하며 VA(vertical alignment) 모드인 액정층을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 화소전극에는 화소전극 절개패턴이 형성되어 있으며,상기 공통전극에는 공통전극 절개패턴이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 게이트 구동부는 시프트 레지스터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 화소는 표시영역에 형성되어 있으며,상기 시프트 레지스터는 상기 표시영역을 사이에 두고 위치하는 제1시프트 레지스터와 제2시프트 레지스터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 게이트선은 상기 제1시프트 레지스터 및 상기 제2시프트 레지스터에 교대로 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 화소전극은 상기 게이트선의 연장방향으로 길게 연장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 데이터선의 연장방향으로 서로 인접한 3개의 화소전극은 각각 서로 다른 상기 게이트선에 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 데이터선의 연장방향으로 서로 인접한 3개의 화소전극 중 2개는 동일한 상기 데이터선에 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 데이터선의 연장방향으로 서로 인접한 3개의 화소전극은 순차적으로 구동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
