Description
Claims (17)
- 서로 대향하고 있는 제1기판과 제2기판;상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 구비된 액정층;상기 제1기판 상에 형성된 박막트랜지스터; 및상기 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 연결되며, 반사전극이 형성된 반사부와 투과전극이 형성된 투과부로 이루어진 화소전극을 포함하며,상기 반사전극은 전도성 고분자 물질로 형성됨과 동시에 배향막으로도 사용되며,상기 화소전극의 반사부와 투과부는 같은 셀 갭을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 반사전극 상의 액정층을 투과한 빛의 위상은 상기 반사전극에 의해 위상차지연되어 상기 투과전극 상의 액정층을 투과한 빛의 위상과 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 반사전극은 금속이 도핑된 폴리이미드로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 반사전극은 폴리이미드 및 전이금속과 리간드(ligand)로 이루어진 전이금속착물(transition metal complex)의 혼합물로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 리간드는 알킬(alkyl)기를 도입한 트리아졸인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 투과전극은 ITO로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화소전극의 반사전극과 투과전극은 전기적으로 연결된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 투과전극은 상기 반사전극의 하부에 연장되어 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 투과전극과 상기 반사전극의 사이에 형성된 배향막을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 박막트랜지스터는 투명기판 상에 형성된 게이트전극;상기 게이트전극 상에 형성된 게이트절연막;상기 게이트절연막 상에 형성된 반도체층; 및상기 반도체층 상에 서로 이격되여 형성된 소스/드레인전극을 포함하며,상기 화소전극은 드레인전극에 전기적으로 연결된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 기판 상에 게이트전극, 반도체층, 소스/드레인전극을 포함하는 박막트랜지스터를 형성하는 단계; 및상기 드레인전극에 전기적으로 연결된 화소전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 화소전극을 형성하는 단계는 상기 기판의 투과부에 투과전극을 형성하는 단계와 상기 투과전극이 형성된 기판의 반사부에 전도성 고분자 물질로 형성되어 배향막으로도 사용되는 반사전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 화소전극의 반사부와 투과부는 같은 셀 갭을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 화소전극을 형성하는 단계는,상기 투과전극을 상기 반사부의 하부에 연장되게 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서,상기 화소전극을 형성하는 단계는 상기 박막트랜지스터가 형성된 기판의 전면에 투과전극 물질을 형성한 후 패터닝하여 상기 투과전극을 형성하는 단계와, 상기 투과전극이 형성된 기판상에 반사전극 물질을 형성하고 패터닝하여 상기 반사전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 투과전극을 형성하는 단계와 상기 반사전극을 형성하는 단계 사이에, 상기 투과전극 상에 배향막을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서,상기 화소전극을 형성하는 단계는 상기 박막트랜지스터가 형성된 기판의 전면에 투과전극 물질과 반사전극 물질을 순차적으로 형성하고 패터닝하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 화소전극을 형성하는 단계는 물리적기상증착, 화학적기상증착, 인쇄 또는 코팅의 방법으로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
