Claims (7)
- 레드(red), 그린(green), 블루(blue), 화이트(white) 서브화소가 하나의 화소를 이루는 액정표시장치로서,다수의 서로 엇갈려 배치되는 제 1 및 제 2 게이트배선과, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 게이트배선 사이에 형성된 공통배선과, 다수의 서로 엇갈려 배치되는 제 1 및 제 2 데이터배선이 교차하여 상기 공통배선에 의해 상하로 분리되며, 상기 제 2 데이터배선에 의해 좌우로 분리된 상기 그린(green), 상기 블루(blue), 상기 레드(red), 상기 화이트(white) 서브화소가 형성되며, 각 서브화소의 면적비가 그린(green) = 블루(blue) > 레드(red) > 화이트(white)인 제 1 기판과;상기 제 1 기판과 마주보며 위치하며, 적, 녹, 청 컬러필터 및 화이트(무색) 컬러필터가 구비되며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 게이트 및 데이터배선에 대응하여 형성되는 블랙매트릭스를 포함하는 제 2 기판을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 각각의 서브화소는 2 × 2 매트릭스 형태로 배열되는 쿼드(quad)방식인 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 레드(red)의 면적을 1이라 하면, 상기 그린(green)의 면적은 상기 레드(red)의 면적 대비 1 ~ 1.25이며, 상기 블루(blue)의 면적은 1 ~ 1.25이며, 상기 화이트(white)의 면적은 0.75 ~ 1인 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판 사이에는 액정을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 게이트배선과 상기 다수의 데이터배선의 각 교차지점에 위치하는 박막트랜지스터를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 박막트랜지스터는 게이트전극, 반도체층, 소스 및 드레인전극을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 각 서브화소에 서로 이격하여 구성되는 다수의 공통전극과 화소전극을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
