Claims (9)
- 기지국과 적어도 하나의 이동 장치 사이에서 통신하기 위한 방법에 있어서:순방향 링크 채널을 통해, 적어도 하나의 전송 특성을 갖는 파일롯 신호(pilot signal)를 상기 기지국으로부터 전송하는 단계;상기 기지국에서, 상기 이동 장치에 의해 전송된 데이터 속도 제어 신호를 수신하는 단계로서, 상기 데이터 속도 제어 신호는 제 2 미리 선택된 대역폭 내에서 상기 순방향 링크 채널의 특성에 기초하는, 상기 데이터 속도 제어 신호 수신 단계;상기 기지국에서, 스케일 인자(scale factor)에 의해 상기 수신된 데이터 속도 제어 신호를 스케일링(scaling)하는 단계로서, 이에 따라 상기 스케일링된 수신된 데이터 속도 제어 신호는 데이터 전송 속도들의 제 2 범위 내의 데이터 속도를 나타내고, 상기 수신된 데이터 속도 제어 신호 스케일링 단계는 제 1 미리 선택된 대역폭과 상기 제 2 미리 선택된 대역폭의 비율에 관련된 계수에 기초하여 상기 스케일링된 수신된 데이터 속도 제어 신호 내에 지시된 상기 데이터 속도들을 확장하는 단계를 포함하는, 상기 수신된 데이터 속도 제어 신호 스케일링 단계; 및상기 스케일링된 데이터 속도 제어 신호에 기초하여 상기 데이터 전송 속도들의 제 2 범위 내의 전송 속도를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는, 통신 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 순방향 링크 채널을 통해 성공적으로 전송되는 신호들에 기초하여 상기 스케일 인자를 수정하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 통신 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 순방향 링크 채널을 통해 성공적으로 전송되는 신호들에 기초하여 상기 스케일 인자를 수정하는 단계는 상기 순방향 링크 채널을 통해 원격 위치에서 신호들이 성공적으로 수신되었다는 지시의 수신에 기초하여 스케일 인자를 수정하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 통신 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 순방향 링크 채널을 통해 상기 원격 위치에서 신호들이 성공적으로 수신되었다는 상기 지시의 수신에 기초하여 상기 스케일 인자를 수정하는 단계는 상기 원격 위치에서 신호들이 성공적으로 수신되었다는 상기 지시의 수신에 기초하여 상기 스케일 인자를 증가시키는 단계를 더 포함하는, 통신 방법.
