Claims (7)
- 少なくとも1つの基地局と少なくとも1つのモバイルデバイスとの間で通信する方法であって、
少なくとも1つの送信された特徴を有するパイロット信号をフォワードリンクチャネルを介して前記基地局から送信するステップと、
前記モバイルデバイスによって送信されたデータ速度制御信号を前記基地局で受信するステップとを含み、前記データ速度制御信号はデータ伝送速度の第1の範囲のデータ速度を示し、そして、前記データ速度制御信号は第2の予め選択された帯域幅内の前記フォワードリンクチャネルの特徴に基づいており、さらに、
前記基地局で、スケールファクタによって、受信した前記データ速度制御信号をスケーリングするステップとを含み、スケーリングされた前記受信したデータ速度制御信号はデータ伝送速度の第2の範囲のデータ速度を示すものであり、
前記受信したデータ速度制御信号をスケーリングするステップは、第1の予め選択された帯域幅と前記第2の予め選択された帯域幅との比に関連する係数に基づいて、スケーリングされた前記受信したデータ速度制御信号に示されたデータ速度に引き上げるステップと、前記スケーリングされたデータ速度制御信号に基づいてデータ伝送速度の第2の範囲の伝送速度を決定するステップとを含む、方法。 - 前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して成功裡に送信された信号に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して成功裡に送信された信号に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップは、信号が前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して遠隔位置で成功裡に受信されたという表示の受信に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップをさらに含む請求項2に記載の方法。
- 信号が前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して遠隔位置で成功裡に受信されたという表示の受信に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップは、信号が遠隔位置で成功裡に受信されたという表示の受信に基づいて前記スケールファクタを増加するステップをさらに含む請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して成功裡には送信されなかった信号に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して成功裡には送信されなかった信号に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップが、信号が前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して遠隔位置で成功裡には受信されなかったという表示の受信に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップをさらに含む請求項5に記載の方法。
- 信号が前記フォワードリンクチャネルを介して遠隔位置で成功裡には受信されなかったという表示の受信に基づいて前記スケールファクタを変更するステップが、信号が遠隔位置で成功裡には受信されなかったという表示の受信に基づいて前記スケールファクタを減少させるステップをさらに含む請求項6記載の方法。
