Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 화상을 표시하기 위한 액정패널 및 상기 액정패널을 구동하기 위한 구동 회로부를 포함하며;상기 구동 회로부는 외부로부터 신호들을 공급받기 위한 다수의 입력부들 및 외부로 신호들을 출력하기 위한 다수의 출력부들이 형성된 입/출력부, 상기 입/출력부를 통해 신호를 제공받거나 출력하는 다수의 디지털 논리소자들로 이루어진 다수의 논리셀들로 구성된 논리부, 및 외부로부터의 정전기로부터 상기 디지털 논리소자들을 보호하기 위한 정전기보호부를 포함하며;상기 정전기보호부에 포함된 구성요소들 중 일부가 상기 논리셀들 사이의 공간에 형성되며;상기 논리셀들 사이의 각 공간은 상기 논리부의 패턴 밀도를 조절하기 위한 더미 셀이 삽입되는 더미 영역이며; 그리고,상기 정전기보호부에 포함된 구성요소들 중 일부가 상기 더미 셀 대신 이 더미 영역에 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 정전기보호부는,정전기의 유입 여부를 감지하는 정전기감지부; 및,상기 정전기감지부로부터의 감지결과에 따라 전원공급라인을 통해 유입된 정전기를 접지단자로 방출시키는 정전기방출부를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 정전기방출부는 서로 병렬로 접속된 다수의 정전기방출 트랜지스터들을 포함하며, 적어도 하나의 정전기방출 트랜지스터가 상기 논리셀들 사이의 공간에 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 전원공급라인과 접지단자 사이에 상기 정전기방출 트랜지스터들이 병렬로 접속됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 정전기방출 트랜지스터들의 각 게이트전극이 상기 정전기감지부에 접속되며;상기 정전기방출 트랜지스터들의 각 드레인전극이 상기 전원공급라인에 접속되며; 그리고,상기 정전기방출 트랜지스터들의 각 소스전극이 상기 접지단자에 접속됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 정전기감지부는,상기 전원공급라인과 노드 사이에 접속된 저항;상기 노드와 접지단자 사이에 접속된 커패시터; 및,상기 노드와 상기 정전기방출 트랜지스터의 게이트전극 사이에 접속된 인버터를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로부는 상기 액정표시장치의 데이터 라인들로 화소 전압을 공급하는 데이터 드라이브 집적회로인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로부는 상기 액정표시장치의 데이터 라인들로 화소 전압을 공급하는 데이터 드라이브 집적회로의 동작을 제어하기 위한 타이밍 콘트롤러인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 논리부 및 정전기보호부는 상기 입/출력부에 의해 둘러싸인 코어영역에 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
