Claims (2)
- 충돌 사고 발생시 운전자를 보호하기 위한 자동차의 운전자 보호 장치에 있어서,상기 자동차의 충돌시 조향장치의 저항 하중을 충돌 상황에 따라 가변하는 것으로, 충격 에너지를 흡수할 수 있도록 일측 단부는 차체에 고정되고, 폭 방향 양단에는 내향 절곡된 변형유도 홈이 형성되어 있는 벤딩 플레이트, 상기 벤딩 플레이트의 변형을 유도하도록 U자형으로 절곡된 봉체의 양단이 상기 변형유도 홈에 위치되며, 마운팅 브라켓 상에서 수직 방향으로 승강되는 U자형 가동핀, 상기 마운팅 브라켓의 저면에 결합되며 상기 U자형 가동핀의 승강을 제어하는 액츄에이터를 포함하는 가변형 충격 에너지 흡수 구조;상기 충돌의 강약에 따라서 에어백의 팽창 강도가 조절되는 듀얼 스테이지 에어백; 및충돌 감지 센서, 차속 센서 및 충격 조절용 센서군으로부터 입수한 정보를 근거로 산출된 작동 명령에 따라 구동이 이루어지는 상기 액츄에이터를 이용하여 상기 충격 에너지 흡수 구조 및 상기 에어백을 각각 제어하고 조합하여 상기 운전자 및 상기 자동차의 운전 상태에 따라 최적의 충격 에너지 흡수를 할 수 있도록 제어하는 ECU를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가변형 충격 에너지 흡수 구조 컬럼과 듀얼 스테이지 에어백을 이용한 운전자 보호 장치.
