Claims (9)
- 유로를 구획하는 다공질 격벽을 가지는 세라믹 허니컴 소성체와, 소정의 유로에 형성된 밀봉부(sealing sections)를 가지고, 상기 다공질 격벽을 통과하는 배기가스로부터 미립자를 제거하는 세라믹 허니컴 필터로서,상기 세라믹 허니컴 소성체는 코디어라이트를 주성분으로 하는 세라믹 재료로 이루어지고, 상기 밀봉부 중 적어도 일부는 세라믹 입자 및 비정질 산화물 매트릭스를 함유하며, 상기 세라믹 입자는 코디어라이트 입자 및/또는 비정질 실리카 입자이고, 상기 비정질 산화물 매트릭스는 콜로이드상 산화물로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 세라믹 입자가 세라믹 허니컴 소성체와 동일한 재질의 분쇄 분말로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서,상기 콜로이드상 산화물이 콜로이달 실리카 및/또는 콜로이달 알루미나인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 허니컴 필터.
- 유로를 구획하는 다공질 격벽을 가지는 세라믹 허니컴 소성체와, 소정의 유로에 형성된 밀봉부를 가지고, 상기 다공질 격벽을 통과하는 배기가스로부터 미립자를 제거하는 세라믹 허니컴 필터를 제조하는 방법로서,상기 세라믹 허니컴 소성체를 코디어라이트를 주성분으로 하는 세라믹 재료에 의해 형성하고,상기 세라믹 허니컴 소성체의 소정의 유로에 충전한 밀봉재(sealing material)를 1000 ℃ 이하의 온도에서 가열함으로써, 상기 세라믹 허니컴 소성체에 고착된 밀봉부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 밀봉재의 고착 온도를 500 ℃ 이하로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서,상기 밀봉부 중 적어도 일부를 세라믹 입자 및 콜로이드상 산화물을 함유하는 밀봉재에 의해 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 세라믹 입자가 세라믹 허니컴 소성체와 동일한 재질의 분쇄 분말로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
