Abstract
Description
Claims (8)
- 적, 녹, 청색의 다수의 화소 영역으로 정의되는 제 1 기판과;상기 제 1 기판 상에 형성된 어레이 소자와;상기 적, 녹, 청색의 고분자로 이루어져 각 화소 영역별로 구획을 짓는 제 2 기판과;상기 제 2 기판에 의해 구획지어진 각 화소 내에 형성된 액정층을 포함하고,상기 제 2 기판은 상기 화소 영역 각각에 배치된 격벽과 상판을 포함하는 적, 녹, 청색의 컬러필터를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판은 광경화성 컬러 필터 레진 모노머와 지지층 모노머를 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 각 화소 내에 형성된 액정층은 서로 분리되어 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 적, 녹, 청색의 화소 영역의 경계부에 시드(seed)가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 기판 상에 적, 녹, 청색의 컬러 화소 영역을 구분하며 어레이 소자를 형성하는 단계와;상기 기판 상에 액정과 광경화성 컬러 고분자의 혼합물을 형성하는 단계와;상기 컬러 화소 영역의 경계부에 시드(seed)를 형성하는 단계와;상기 컬러 화소 영역을 노광하는 단계와;상기 컬러 고분자가 광경화되어 상기 액정과 상분리된 컬러 고분자 상판을 형성하는 단계;를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 컬러 고분자는 적, 녹, 청색 컬러 필터 레진 모노머(red color filter resin monomer)와 지지층 모노머(binder monomer)를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 컬러 고분자 상판은 적, 녹, 청색 화소 영역별로 구획되어 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 시드는 혼합물 형성 전에 상기 컬러 화소 영역의 경계부에 스탬프로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
