Claims (10)
- 화소영역과, 상기 화소영역 내에 화소전극을 구비한 제 1 기판과;상기 제 1 기판 상의 화소전극 위로 전면에 형성된 제 1 배향막과;상기 제 1 배향막 위로 전면에 제 1 방향의 자발분극이 형성된 제 1 강유전성 액정층과;상기 제 1 기판과 서로 마주보며 위치한 제 2 기판과;상기 제 2 기판의 하부 전면에 형성된 공통전극과;상기 공통전극 하부 전면에 형성된 제 2 배향막과;상기 제 2 배향막 하부로 전면에 상기 제 1 강유전성 액정층과 동일한 자발분극 방향을 갖는 제 2 강유전성 액정층과;상기 제 1, 2 강유전성 액정층 사이에 개재되며, 염료물질을 포함하는 네마틱 액정층과;상기 제 1, 2 기판 중 어느 하나의 기판 외측면에 구비된 제 1 편광판을 포함하고,상기 네마틱 액정층은 90도 회전함으로써 제 2 편광판 기능을 갖는투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 2 강유전성 액정층은 상기 자발분극 방향으로의 전계인가에 따른 회전각도가 0도 내지 90도인 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 염료물질은 적, 녹, 청색의 염료가 고르게 섞여 모든 빛을 흡수하는 것이 특징인 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 염료물질을 포함하는 네마틱 액정층의 초기배열 상태는 상기 제 1 편광판의 투과축과 평행하거나 수직한 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판에는 상기 화소전극과 연결된 박막트랜지스터가 더욱 구비된 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판에는 상기 공통전극 상부로 순차 반복하는 적, 녹, 청색 컬러필터 패턴이 더욱 구비된 투과형 액정표시장치.
