Claims (33)
- 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도를 측정하기 위한 장치로서,산화 가스 또는 산화 증기와 무촉매(non-catalytically) 반응하여 열 변화를 발생시키며, 하이드록실 기능족을 포함하는 폴리머를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜(PEG), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드(PEO), 및 폴리비닐 알콜(PVA)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 화학 물질과,상기 화학 물질에 결합되며, 상기 열 변화에 반응하는 온도 프로브를 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기는 과산화수소를 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.

- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어는 아크릴, 에폭시, 나일론, 폴리우레탄, 폴리하이드록시에틸렌메타크릴레이트(polyHEMA), 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트(PMMA), 폴리비닐피롤리돈(PVP), 폴리비닐알콜(PVA), 실리콘, 테이프, 또는 진공 그리스(grease)를 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어는 하나 이상의 구멍을 갖는 가스-불침투성 엔클로저(enclosure) 또는 가스-침투성 파우치(pouch)를 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 가스-침투성 파우치는 부직조 폴리올레핀(nonwoven polyolefin) 재료를 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 화학 물질과 상기 온도 프로브 사이에 열 전도체를 부가로 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 프로브는 상기 화학 물질에 결합된 온도 프로브의 부분을 상기 온도 프로브의 나머지 부분에 연결 및 분리하기 위한 커넥터를 부가로 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 프로브는 이동 가능하며, 특정 위치의 온도를 측정하고, 온도의 함수인 출력 신호를 발생하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 프로브는 광섬유(fiberoptic) 온도 프로브, 플루오르옵틱(fluoroptic) 온도 프로브, 열전쌍(thermocouple) 프로브, 서미스터(thermistor), 유리 온도계, RTD 프로브, 온도 스트립, 광학 온도 센서, 또는 적외선 온도 센서중 하나인 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도에 무관한 온도 변동을 측정하도록 되어 있는 기준 온도 프로브를 부가로 포함하는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 상기 기준 온도 프로브는 온도 프로브와 동일하지만 상기 화학 물질을 포함하지 않는 농도 측정 장치.
- 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도를 측정하기 위한 방법으로서,측정될 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기와 무촉매 반응하여 열 변화를 발생시키며, 하이드록실 기능족을 포함하는 폴리머를 포함하고, 상기 폴리머는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜(PEG), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드(PEO), 및 폴리비닐 알콜(PVA)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 화학 물질을 제공하는 단계와,상기 화학 물질에 결합되는 온도 프로브를 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 온도 프로브는 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도의 함수인 출력 신호를 만드는 것에 의해 상기 측정될 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기와 상기 화학 물질 사이의 상기 무촉매 반응에 의해 발생되는 열 변화에 반응하는 단계와,화학 물질을 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기에 노출시키는 단계와,상기 온도 프로브로부터의 출력 신호를 측정하는 단계와,상기 출력 신호에 기초하여 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 농도 측정 방법.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 프로브를 특정 위치로 이동시키는 단계와, 상기 위치에서 온도의 함수인 출력 신호를 발생시키는 단계를 부가로 포함하는 농도 측정 방법.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도와 무관한 온도 변동을 검출하고 상기 온도 변동의 함수의 기준 출력 신호를 발생시키는 기준 온도 프로브를 제공하는 단계와,상기 기준 온도 프로브로부터 기준 출력 신호를 측정하는 단계와,상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도와 무관한 온도 변동을 보정하도록 상기 기준 출력 신호를 이용하는 단계를 포함하는 농도 측정 방법.
- 사용자에 의해 작동되는 살균(sterilization) 장치로서,챔버와,상기 챔버에 있는 도어와,상기 챔버와 유체 연통하는 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기 공급원과,제 1 항에 따른 하나 이상의 농도 측정 장치를 포함하는 화학적 농도 측정 장치와,상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 필요 농도를 발생시키도록 상기 화학적 농도 측정 장치로부터 입력을 수신하는 제어 시스템을 포함하는 살균 장치.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 상기 챔버 내의 압력을 감소시키는 펌핑 장치를 부가로 포함하는 살균 장치.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기는 과산화수소를 포함하는 살균 장치.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기의 농도와 무관한 온도 변동을 측정하는 기준 온도 프로브를 부가로 포함하는 살균 장치.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 상기 기준 온도 프로브는 온도 프로브 근처에 있는 농도 측정 장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 산화 가스 또는 산화 증기는 과산화수소를 포함하는 농도 측정 방법.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 화학 물질은 과산화수소에 의해 산화되는 재료인 농도 측정 방법.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 프로브는, 아크릴, 에폭시, 나일론, 폴리우레탄, 폴리하이드록시에틸렌메타크릴레이트(polyHEMA), 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트(PMMA), 폴리비닐피롤리돈(PVP), 폴리비닐알콜(PVA), 실리콘, 테이프, 또는 진공 그리스(grease)를 포함하는 캐리어에 의해 상기 화학 물질에 결합되는 농도 측정 방법.
