Description
Claims (22)
- 리튬 코발트 산화물이 리튬 버퍼물질과 리튬 화학포텐셜의 평형을 이루도록 열처리됨으로써 화학양론적 조성의 LiCoO2를 함유하며, 상기 리튬 버퍼물질은 LiCoO2의 잉여 리튬(Li excess) 형태인 Li2CO3으로부터 Li를 빼앗아 Li2CO3을 분해하거나, 부족 리튬(Li deficiency) 형태인 코발트 산화물에 Li을 공급하여 LiCoO2를 생성하도록 하는 물질인 것이 특징인 LiCoO2 함유 분말.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 리튬 버퍼물질은 LizMO2 (여기서, 0.95 < z < 1.1 이고; M = Ni1 -x- yMnxCoy 이며, 여기서, 0 < y < 0.5 이고, Ni에 대한 Mn의 비율(x/(1-x-y))은 0.4 내지 1.1 이다)인 것이 특징인 LiCoO2 함유 분말.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 리튬 버퍼물질은 LiMn1 /3Ni1 /3Co1 /3O2인 것이 특징인 LiCoO2 함유 분말.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 열처리 온도는 LiCoO2와 리튬 버퍼물질 간의 반응에 의해 새로운 화합물을 형성하지 않을 정도의 온도로서 400℃ ~ 1100℃의 범위인 것이 특징인 LiCoO2 함유 분말.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 LiCoO2의 함량이 70 중량% 이상인 것이 특징인 LiCoO2 함유 분말.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 LiCoO2와 리튬 버퍼물질이 서로 혼합되어 접촉하고 있는 상태인 것이 특징인 LiCoO2 함유 분말.
