Claims (5)
- 복수개의 주사선과 신호선이 매트릭스 형상으로 형성되고 그 교차점에 스위칭소자를 갖는 각각 구동 가능한 N개의 소형 액정패널을 포함하는 액정패널;상기 소형 액정패널의 주사선에 인가되는 주사신호가 상기 다른 소형 액정패널에 인가되도록 전기적 연결을 갖는 게이트 구동부; 및상기 N개의 소형 액정패널의 신호선에 영상신호를 인가하는 데이터 구동부를 포함하고,상기 게이트 구동부는 상부 소형 액정패널의 패드부에 연결된 게이트 구동칩의 출력라인이 인쇄회로기판(PCB)을 통하여 하부에 소형 액정패널의 패드부와 전기적으로 공유되도록 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 N개의 소형 액정패널에 데이터를 각각 저장하는 N개의 메모리를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 N개의 메모리에 각각 저장된 영상신호를 상부신호와 하부신호로 분할하고, 상기 상부신호 및 하부신호를 그에 해당하는 데이터 구동부로 전송하도록 제어하는 컨트롤부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 분할된 상부 및 하부신호가 그에 해당하는 데이터 구동부로 전송되는 동안, 다음 프레임의 영상신호가 상기 N개의 메모리에 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시장치.
