Claims (5)
- 복수 개의 주사선과 신호선이 매트릭스 형상으로 형성되고 그 교차점에 스위칭소자를 갖는 각각 구동 가능한 N개의 소형액정패널을 포함하는 액정패널;상기 소형액정패널의 주사선에 인가되는 주사신호가 상기 다른 소형액정패널에 인가되도록 전기적 연결을 갖는 게이트구동부; 및상기 N개의 소형액정패널의 신호선에 영상신호를 인가하는 데이터구동부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 N개의 소형액정패널에 데이터를 각각 저장하는 N개의 메모리를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 N개의 메모리에 각각 저장된 영상신호를 상부신호와 하부신호로 분할하고, 상기 상부신호 및 하부신호를 그에 해당하는 데이터구동부로 전송하도록 제어하는 컨트롤부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 분할된 상부 및 하부신호가 그에 해당하는 데이터구동부로 전송되는 동안, 다음 프레임의 영상신호가 상기 N개의 메모리에 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트 구동부는 상측부에 위치하는 소형액정패널에 인가되는 주사신호를 인쇄회로기판(PCB)을 통하여 하측부에 위치하는 소형액정패널에 공통으로 인가하는 게이트구동칩을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
