Abstract
Description
Claims (18)
- 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판;상기 제 1 기판 상부에 형성되고, 게이트 절연막을 사이에 두고 서로 교차하여 화소 영역을 정의하는 게이트 배선과 데이터 배선;상기 게이트 배선 및 데이터 배선에 연결되어 있는 박막 트랜지스터;상기 게이트 배선, 게이트 절연막, 데이터 배선 및 상기 박막 트랜지스터를 덮고 있는 제 1 보호층;상기 제 1 보호층 상부에 형성되며 상기 화소영역을 둘러싸는 부수 전극;상기 부수 전극 상부에 형성되어 있는 제 2 보호층;상기 제 2 보호층 상부에 형성되는 화소 전극;상기 제 2 기판 하부에 형성되어 있는 공통 전극;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판 사이에 형성되어 있는 액정층을 포함하고, 상기 부수 전극은 상기 데이터 배선 및 상기 화소 전극과 일부 중첩함으로써, 상기 부수 전극은 상기 화소 전극과 가장자리 수직전계를 형성하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 부수 전극은 불투명한 도전 물질로 이루어진 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 부수 전극은 알루미늄이나 알루미늄 합금 중의 어느 하나로 이루어진 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 보호층은 유기 절연막으로 이루어진 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 박막 트랜지스터와 상기 제 1 보호층 사이에 무기 절연막을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공통 전극은 슬릿패턴을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 슬릿패턴 상부에 블랙 매트릭스를 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
