Claims (7)
- 대향 배치된 한 쌍의 기판과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 밀봉된 액정층과,상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 반사하는 반사판을 갖는 반사 영역과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측에 투과시키는 투과 영역을 구비한 화소 영역과,상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 상기 투과 영역에 입사하여 투과한 빛을 반사하고, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽 측으로부터 재차 상기 투과 영역에 입사시키는 반사부와,상기 화소 영역 중 상기 투과 영역에만 형성된 컬러 필터층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 대향 배치된 한 쌍의 기판과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 밀봉된 액정층과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 위에 각각 형성되고, 상기 액정층에 전압을 인가하는 투명 전극과,상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 반사하는 반사판과, 상기 투명 전극과 상기 액정층 사이에 형성되고 상기 액정층에 걸리는 실효 전압을 저하시키는 투명 유전체층을 갖는 반사 영역과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측에 투과시키는 투과 영역을 구비하는 화소 영역을 갖고,상기 투명 유전체층은 상기 반사 영역에만 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 반사하는 반사판과, 상기 반사판의 표면에 요철을 형성하기 위한 요철 형성용 패턴을 갖는 액정 표시 장치를 제조하는 제조 방법으로서,상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽에 박막 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극과 동시에 상기 요철 형성용 패턴의 도전체층을 형성하고,상기 도전체층 상에 반도체층을 형성하고,상기 반도체층 상에 유전체층을 형성하고,상기 요철 형성용 패턴의 도전체층을 마스크로 하는 배면 노광을 이용하여 상기 유전체층을 패터닝하여, 상기 도전체층과 상기 유전체층을 갖는 상기 요철 형성용 패턴을 형성하고,상기 요철 형성용 패턴 상에 상기 반사판을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 대향 배치된 한 쌍의 기판과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 밀봉된 액정층과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 반사하는 반사판을 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽에 갖는 반사 영역과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽 측으로부 터 입사하는 빛을 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측에 투과시키는 투과 영역을 구비한 화소 영역을 갖는 액정 표시 장치로서,상기 반사판은 상기 화소 영역의 외주부에 배치되고,상기 투과 영역은, 상기 반사판의 개구부에 배치되어 있음과 함께, 상기 반사판보다도 상층에 형성되고 상기 반사판과는 전기적으로 분리된 투명한 화소 전극을 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극의 단부는, 기판면에 수직으로 볼 때 상기 반사판에 대하여 겹쳐 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 대향 배치된 한 쌍의 기판과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 밀봉된 수직 배향형의 액정층과,상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 반사하는 반사판을 갖는 반사 영역과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측에 투과시키는 투과 영역을 구비한 화소 영역과,상기 반사판 상에 형성되고, 광 산란능을 갖는 배향 제어 구조물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 대향 배치된 한 쌍의 기판과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 밀봉된 수직 배향형의 액정층과,상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 입사하는 빛을 투과시키는 화소 영역과,시차 보정 기능을 갖고, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 한쪽 측으로부터 상기 화소 영역에 입사하여 투과한 빛을 반사하고, 상기 한 쌍의 기판의 다른 쪽 측으로부터 재차 상기 화소 영역에 입사시키는 반사부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
