Claims (9)
- 스캔 라인과 데이터 라인을 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치에 있어서,입력된 영상신호를 분석하여 각 셀의 계조를 계산하는 타이밍 콘트롤러;상기 타이밍 콘트롤러에서 계산된 셀의 계조에 따라 소정 개의 서브필드를 형성하고 상기 서브필드에 따라 전압제어신호를 출력하는 서브필드 검출부; 및상기 서브필드 검출부로부터 전압제어신호를 입력받아 서브필드에 따라 스캔 바이어스 전압 또는 스캔 전압의 크기가 변화하는 스캔 바이어스 전압 또는 스캔 전압을 상기 스캔 라인에 출력하는 전압 변환부를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동장치.
- 스캔 라인과 데이터 라인을 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치에 있어서,입력된 영상신호를 분석하여 각 셀의 계조를 계산하는 타이밍 콘트롤러;상기 타이밍 콘트롤러에서 계산된 셀의 계조에 따라 소정 개의 서브필드를 형성하고 상기 서브필드에 따라 전압제어신호를 출력하는 서브필드 검출부; 및상기 서브필드 검출부로부터 전압제어신호를 입력받아 서브필드에 따라 데이터 전압의 크기가 변화하는 데이터 전압을 상기 데이터 라인에 출력하는 전압 변환부를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전압 변환부는 상기 서브필드 검출부로부터 전압제어신호를 입력받아 서브필드에 따라 데이터 전압의 크기가 변화하는 데이터 전압을 상기 데이터 라인에 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 서브필드 검출부는 상기 서브필드에 대한 APL 또는 데이터 로드를 계산하여 전압제어신호를 출력하고,상기 전압 변환부는 상기 APL 또는 데이터 로드에 따라 변화하는 스캔 바이어스 전압을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전압 변환부는 DC/DC 컨버터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동장치.
- 스캔 라인과 데이터 라인을 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동방법에 있어서,입력된 영상신호를 분석하여 각 셀의 계조를 계산하는 제1단계;상기 계산된 셀의 계조에 따라 소정 개의 서브필드를 형성하고 상기 서브필드에 따라 전압제어신호를 출력하는 제2단계; 및상기 전압제어신호를 입력받아 서브필드에 따라 스캔 바이어스 전압 또는 스캔 전압의 크기가 변화하는 스캔 바이어스 전압 또는 스캔 전압을 상기 스캔 라인에 출력하는 제3단계를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동방법.
- 스캔 라인과 데이터 라인을 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동방법에 있어서,입력된 영상신호를 분석하여 각 셀의 계조를 계산하는 제1단계;상기 계산된 셀의 계조에 따라 소정 개의 서브필드를 형성하고 상기 서브필드에 따라 전압제어신호를 출력하는 제2단계; 및상기 전압제어신호를 입력받아 서브필드에 따라 데이터 전압의 크기가 변화하는 데이터 전압을 상기 데이터 라인에 출력하는 제3단계를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,제3단계에서, 상기 전압제어신호를 입력받아 서브필드에 따라 데이터 전압의 크기가 변화하는 데이터 전압을 상기 데이터 라인에 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동방법.
- 제6항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 계산된 셀의 계조에 따라 형성된 상기 서브필드에 대한 APL 또는 데이터 로드를 계산하여 전압제어신호를 출력하고, 상기 APL 또는 데이터 로드에 따라 변화하는 스캔 바이어스 전압을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 구동 방법.
