Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- 기판 상에 형성되며, 주름 형상 요철 형상의 표면을 갖는 주름 형상 요철층과,상기 기판의 상기 주름 형상 요철층측에 대향 배치된 대향 기판과,상기 기판과 상기 대향 기판 사이에 밀봉된 액정과,상기 기판 상의 상기 주름 형상 요철층의 하층에 형성되며, 상기 주름 형상 요철층의 요철의 방위를 제어하는 요철 제어 구조부와,상기 주름 형상 요철층의 오목부 상 또는 볼록부 상의 어느 한쪽에 형성되며, 상기 기판과 상기 대향 기판 사이를 소정의 간극으로 유지하는 유지용 돌기부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유지용 돌기부는, 상기 대향 기판으로부터 돌출되어 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유지용 돌기부는, 상기 주름 형상 요철층으로부터 돌출되어 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 유지용 돌기부는, 상기 액정의 배향을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 주름 형상 요철층 상에 상기 요철을 따라 형성되며, 상기 대향 기판측으로부터 입사한 광을 반사하는 광 반사층을 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 광 반사층은, 상기 유지용 돌기부와 상기 주름 형상 요철층 사이에도 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 기판 상에 형성된 게이트 버스 라인과, 상기 게이트 버스 라인에 절연막을 개재하여 교차하여 형성된 드레인 버스 라인과, 상기 게이트 버스 라인과 상기 드레인 버스 라인의 교차부마다 형성된 화소 영역을 더 갖고,상기 요철 제어 구조부는, 상기 게이트 버스 라인 및/또는 상기 드레인 버스 라인과 동일 재료로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 요철 제어 구조부는, 상기 게이트 버스 라인 및/또는 상기 드레인 버스 라인과 동층에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 기판측에 광원을 더 갖고,상기 화소 영역은, 상기 광 반사층이 형성된 반사 영역과, 상기 광원으로부터 사출된 광을 투과하는 투과 영역을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 액정은, 마이너스의 유전율 이방성을 갖고 전압이 인가되지 않을 때에 수직 배향되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 주름 형상 요철층 상에 상기 요철을 따라 형성되며, 상기 대향 기판측으로부터 입사한 광을 반사하는 광 반사층을 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 기판측에 광원을 더 갖고,상기 화소 영역은, 상기 광 반사층이 형성된 반사 영역과, 상기 광원으로부터 사출된 광을 투과하는 투과 영역을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
