Claims (4)
- 표시부를 구동하기 위한 박막트랜지스터 어레이와; 상기 박막트랜지스터 어레이에 비디오 데이터신호를 인가하기 위한 다수의 데이터라인 및; 상기 박막트랜지스터 어레이에 구동전압을 인가하기 위한 다수의 게이트라인이 형성된 인 플레인 스위치모드의 액정 표시소자에 있어서,상기 다수의 게이트라인이 상기 박막트랜지스터 어레이의 외곽부로 신장되어 형성되는 다수의 게이트링크 및;상기 다수의 게이트링크와 교차되게 형성되어, 상기 박막트랜지스터 어레이의 외곽부에서 공통전압을 액정에 인가시켜 상기 다수의 게이트링크에서의 게이트 전압을 감소시키는 다수의 공통전압라인을 구비하며; 상기 공통전압라인은 게이트라인과 나란하게 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 공통전압은 +5V인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전압은 -5V의 게이트로우전압을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전압은 +20V의 게이트하이전압을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시소자.
