Abstract
Description
Claims (3)
- 제1 에너지 저장부와 제2 에너지 저장부를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치에 있어서,서스테인 펄스 상승 전에 상기 제1 에너지 저장부에 저장된 에너지를 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널로 공급하며 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널에 충전된 에너지가 상기 제1 에너지 저장부에 저장되도록 하는 에너지 회수 스위칭부;상기 제2 에너지 저장부에 저장되어 있던 에너지를 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널에 공급하여 서스테인 펄스를 상승시키며 상기 서스테인 펄스의 전압이 서스테인 전압이 되었을 때 상기 제1 에너지 저장부에 에너지가 저장되도록 하는 피킹 펄스 인가부;상기 피킹 펄스 인가부에 의하여 상기 제2 에너지 저장부에 저장되어 있던 에너지가 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널에 인가될 때 피킹 펄스를 발생시키는 공진부; 및상기 서스테인 전압를 인가하고 서스테인 펄스가 그라운드 레벨이 되도록 하는 서스테인 구동부를 포함하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 에너지 회수 스위칭부는 두 개의 FET 스위칭 소자를 포함하며,상기 제1 에너지 저장부로부터 에너지가 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널에 공급될 때 하나의 스위칭 소자는 턴온되며 다른 하나의 스위칭 소자는 턴오프되며,상기 하나의 스위칭 소자를 통하여 공급되는 에너지가 상기 다른 하나의 스위칭 소자의 바디 다이오드를 통하여 상기 제1 에너지 저장부에 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 다른 하나의 스위칭 소자는 턴온하고, 상기 하나의 스위칭 소자는 턴오프하여 상기 플라즈마 표시 패널로부터 공급되는 에너지가 상기 턴온된 다른 하나의 스위칭 소자와 상기 턴오프된 하나의 스위칭 소자의 바디 다이오드를 통하여 상기 제1 에너지 저장부에 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시 패널의 구동 장치.
