Abstract
Description
Claims (6)
- 입사광에 포함되는 우선회 또는 좌선회의 원편광성분 중 선택파장대역 내의 한쪽 방향 원편광성분을 반사 및/또는 투과시키되, 시인각에 따른 색시프트를 수반하는 광으로서 입사광을 투과시키는 콜레스테릭층과,상기 콜레스테릭층의 출사측에 배치되고, 상기 콜레스테릭층에서 반사 또는 투과되어 시인각에 따른 색시프트를 수반하는 원편광성분을 확산시키는 확산층을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 파장선택소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 콜레스테릭층이 적색, 녹색 및 청색의 3색의 화소영역을 포함하는 칼라필터인 것을 특징으로 하는 파장선택소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 확산층이 상기 콜레스테릭층 상에 적층되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 파장선택소자.
- 광을 변조시켜 화상을 표시하는 표시소자와,상기 표시소자를 투과하는 광의 광로상에 설치되고, 당해 광에 포함되는 우선회 또는 좌선회의 원편광성분 중 선택파장대역 내의 한쪽 방향 원편광성분을 반사 및/또는 투과시키되, 시인각에 따른 색시프트를 수반하는 광으로서 입사광을 투과시키는 콜레스테릭층 및,상기 콜레스테릭층의 출사측에 배치되고, 상기 콜레스테릭층에서 반사 또는 투과되어 시인각에 따른 색시프트를 수반하는 원편광성분을 확산시키는 확산층을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 광표시장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 표시소자는 액정표시소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 광표시장치.
- 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서, 상기 콜레스테릭층이 적색, 녹색 및 청색의 3색의 화소영역을 포함하는 칼라필터인 것을 특징으로 하는 광표시장치.
