- 광정보 기록매체에 있어서,광빔으로의 노출에 의해 결정 및 비정질 상태 사이에서 역전가능한 상변화를 야기시킴으로써 정보가 기록될 수 있는 제1기록층을 포함하는 제1정보층과,광빔으로의 노출에 의해 결정 및 비정질 상태 사이에서 역전가능한 상변화를 야기시킴으로써 정보가 기록될 수 있는 제2기록층을 포함하는 제2정보층을 구비하며,제1기록층이 결정상태에 있을 때의 상기 제1정보층의 반사율(R1c), 제1기록층이 비정질상태에 있을 때의 상기 제1정보층의 반사율(R1a), 제2기록층이 결정상태에 있을 때의 상기 제2정보층의 반사율 (R2c), 및 제2기록층이 비정질상태에 있을 때의 상기 제2정보층의 반사율(R2a) 사이에는 R1a < R1c 및 R2a > R2c의 관계를 광빔에 대해 유지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광정보 기록매체.

- 기록매체의 한쪽 면으로부터 광빔으로써 기록 및 재생이 수행되는 2개의 기록층을 갖는 제1의 다층 광정보 기록매체로부터 신호를 재생하고, 제2의 판독전용 광정보 기록매체로부터 신호를 재생하기 위한 방법에 있어서,제1 및 제2의 광정보 기록매체 중에서 재생될 광정보 기록매체를 판별하는 단계와;제2의 광정보 기록매체가 판별될 때 제2의 광정보 기록매체에 기록된 신호를 제1파워 출력의 레이저 빔으로써 재생하는 단계와;제1의 광정보 기록매체가 판별될 때 제1의 광정보 기록매체에 기록된 신호를 제1파워 출력보다 더 높은 제2파워 출력의 레이저 빔으로써 재생하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신호재생방법.
- 기록매체의 한쪽 면으로부터 광빔으로써 기록 및 재생이 수행되는 2개의 기록층을 갖는 제1의 다층 광정보 기록매체로부터 신호를 재생하고, 제2의 판독전용 광정보 기록매체로부터 신호를 재생하기 위한 장치에 있어서,제1기록층을 갖는 제1의 광정보 기록매체 또는 제2기록층을 갖는 제2의 광정보 기록매체를 지지 및 구동하는 회전 구동기와;상기 회전 구동기에 의해 회전된 제1 또는 제2의 광정보 기록매체에 광빔을 방출하는 광원과, 이 제1 또는 제2의 광정보 기록매체로부터 반사된 광을 검출하는 검출기를 구비하는 광헤드와;신호들이 제2의 광정보 기록매체로부터 재생될 때 제1파워 출력을 갖는 광빔, 또는 신호들이 제1의 광정보 기록매체로부터 재생될 때 제1파워 출력보다 높은 제2파워 출력을 갖는 광빔을 상기 광헤드의 상기 광원으로 하여금 방출하도록 하는 제어기를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신호재생장치.
