Description
Claims (14)
- 제1기판 및 제2기판과,상기 제1기판 상에 제1방향으로 형성된 복수의 게이트배선 및 상기 제1방향과 직교하는 제2방향으로 형성된 복수의 데이터배선과,상기 게이트배선과 데이터배선의 교차부분에 형성된 복수의 박막트랜지스터와,이웃하는 상기 게이트배선 및 이웃하는 상기 데이터배선 사이에 형성된 복수의 화소영역과,상기 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 연결되고 상기 화소영역 상에 형성된 복수의 화소전극과,상기 각 화소영역 주위에 오버랩하도록 형성된 공통보조전극과,상기 제2기판 상에, 상기 공통보조전극과 더불어 인가되는 전계를 제어하며 상기 화소영역을 적어도 4도메인 이상으로 분할하도록 상기 각 화소영역 내에서 상하좌우가 대칭되는 더블와이 모양으로 형성된 유전체 구조물과,상기 화소영역 내의 모서리 부분에서, 상기 유전체 구조물을 보조하며 그 단부에 형성된 적어도 하나 이상의 부가 구조물과,상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 배향막과, 그리고상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어진 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 부가 구조물은 전계유도창 또는 유전체 구조물임을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1기판 및 제2기판과,상기 제1기판 상에 제1방향으로 형성된 복수의 게이트배선 및 상기 제1방향과 직교하는 제2방향으로 형성된 복수의 데이터배선과,상기 게이트배선과 데이터배선의 교차부분에 형성된 복수의 박막트랜지스터와,이웃하는 상기 게이트배선 및 이웃하는 상기 데이터배선 사이에 형성된 복수의 화소영역과,상기 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 연결되고 상기 화소영역 상에 형성된 복수의 화소전극과,상기 각각의 화소영역 주위와 내부에 형성되어 화소영역을 적어도 3개의 도메인으로 분할하며, 6각형 모양으로 형성된 공통보조전극과,상기 제2기판 상에, 상기 공통보조전극이 존재하지 않는 화소 영역 주위 및 상기 공통보조전극 사이의 영역에 형성된 복수의 유전체 구조물과,상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 배향막과, 그리고상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어진 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 삭제
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극은 상기 게이트 배선과 동일평면상에 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 삭제
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 구조물은 상기 부가 구조물과 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 위상차 필름을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 삭제
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 각 도메인은 해당 도메인의 대각선 방향으로 형성된 유전체 구조물과, 상기 유전체 구조물을 중심으로 6각형 모양을 갖도록 형성된 공통보조전극에 의해 정의됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 구조물은 지그재그 형상을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극은 이웃하는 상기 화소영역의 공통보조전극과 전기적으로 연결되는 연결부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 위상차 필름을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 구조물은 상기 공통보조전극과 교번하여 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
