Claims (13)
- 제1기판 및 제2기판과,상기 제1기판 상에 제1방향으로 형성된 복수의 게이트배선 및 상기 제1방향과 직교하는 제2방향으로 형성되어 화소영역을 정의하는 복수의 데이터배선과,상기 게이트배선과 데이터배선의 교차부분에 형성된 복수의 박막트랜지스터와,상기 게이트배선과 동일 층에서 상기 화소영역을 둘러싸도록 형성되고, 적어도 하나 이상의 독립된 전극으로 이루어진 공통보조전극과,상기 각각의 화소영역에 상기 박막트랜지스터와 연결되도록 형성된 복수의 화소전극과,상기 게이트배선 또는 공통보조전극과 오버랩되어 형성된 스토리지전극과,상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 배향막과, 그리고상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극이, 상기 화소영역과 이웃하는 화소영역의 공통보조전극과 상기 제1방향으로 연결된 제1연결부를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1연결부가, 상기 제2방향으로 연결된 제2연결부를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극이, 상기 제1연결부와 직교하는 돌출부를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소전극이, 상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소전극이, 상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스토리지전극은 상기 게이트배선과 오버랩되도록 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스토리지전극은 상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스토리지전극은 상기 화소영역과 상기 제2방향으로 이웃한 화소영역의 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소영역이, 적어도 두 영역으로 분할되어 상기 액정층의 액정분자가 각 영역 상에서 서로 상이한 구동 특성을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 배향막이, 적어도 두 영역으로 분할되어 상기 액정층의 액정분자가 각 영역 상에서 서로 상이한 배향 특성을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1기판 및 제2기판과,상기 제1기판 상에 종횡으로 형성되어 화소영역을 정의하는 복수의 게이트배선 및 데이터배선과,상기 게이트배선과 동일층에서 상기 화소영역을 둘러싸도록 형성된 공통보조전극과,상기 제1기판 전면에 걸쳐 형성된 게이트절연막과,상기 게이트절연막 상에 제1기판 전체에 걸쳐 형성된 보호막과,상기 화소영역 내에서 일체로 형성된 화소전극과,상기 보호막 아래에서 상기 화소전극과 연결되고, 상기 공통보조전극 및 이웃한 화소영역을 둘러싼 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 형성된 스토리지 전극과,상기 제2기판 상에 형성된 차광층과,상기 차광층 사이의 제2기판상에 형성된 컬러필터층과,상기 컬러필터층을 포함한 제2기판상에 형성된 공통전극과,상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 배향막과, 그리고상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 차광층이 상기 공통보조전극을 오버랩함을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
