Claims (15)
- 제1기판 및 제2기판과,상기 제1기판 상에 제1방향으로 형성된 복수의 게이트배선 및 상기 제1방향과 직교하는 제2방향으로 형성된 복수의 데이터배선과,상기 게이트배선과 데이터배선의 교차부분에 형성된 복수의 박막트랜지스터와,이웃하는 상기 게이트배선 및 이웃하는 상기 데이터배선 사이에 형성된 복수의 화소영역과,상기 각각의 화소영역 주위 및 내부에 형성된 공통보조전극과,상기 각각의 화소영역에 상기 박막트랜지스터와 연결되도록 형성된 복수의 화소전극과,상기 화소전극 내부에 복수의 특정방향으로 적어도 하나 이상 형성된 일련의 전계유도창과,상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 한 기판 상에 형성된 배향막과, 그리고상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어진 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전계유도창의 형성방향이, 상기 제1방향에 대해 45° 또는 135°를 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극이, 상기 화소영역과 이웃하는 화소영역의 공통보조전극과 연결된 연결부를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소전극의 일부가, 상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2기판 상에 상기 전계유도창과 더불어 인가되는 전계를 제어하는 유전체 구조물을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 구조물의 형성방향이, 상기 전계유도창의 형성방향과 평행한 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판 또는 제2기판 상에 제1위상차 필름(일축성 또는 이축성 필름)을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제1위상차 필름 상에 제2위상차 필름(일축성 또는 이축성 필름)을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소영역이, 적어도 두 영역으로 분할되어 상기 액정층의 액정분자가 각 영역 상에서 서로 상이한 구동 특성을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극 상에 전계유도창이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극은 상기 화소영역의 경계 및 상기 제1방향을 따라 상기 화소영역 내의 복수의 부분에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 부분은 제1방향에서 전계유도창과 오버랩됨을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 게이트배선에 오버랩된 스토리지전극이 더 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 게이트배선 및 공통보조전극에 연결된 스토리지 전극이 더 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 공통보조전극에 연결된 스토리지 전극이 더 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시소자.
