Claims (9)
- 휘도 계조를 표시하는 방법에 있어서,휘도 레벨에 대응하는 웨이트가 할당된 복수의 2진 화상을 시간적으로 조합하여 표시하는 단계를 포함하되,임의의 계조를 표시하기 위해, 선택된 상기 2진 화상의 모든 웨이트가 서로 다르며, 또한, 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 조합이 복수 있는 경우에, 상기 계조를 나타내는 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 조합은, 상기 복수의 2진 화상 중 가장 작은 웨이트가 할당된 2진 화상으로부터 우선적으로 선택된 2진 화상으로 이루어지는 휘도 계조 표시 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 2진 화상을 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 웨이트가 증가하는 순서로 표시하는 휘도 계조 표시 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 2진 화상을 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 웨이트가 감소하는 순서로 표시하는 휘도 계조 표시 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 2진 화상은 서브필드로 형성되는 휘도 계조 표시 방법.
- 휘도 계조를 표시하는 방법에 있어서,휘도 레벨에 대응하는 서로 다른 웨이트가 할당된 복수의 2진 화상을 시간적으로 조합하여 표시하는 단계를 포함하되,임의의 계조를 표시하기 위해, 상기 2진 화상의 조합이 복수 있는 경우에, 상기 계조를 나타내는 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 조합은, 상기 복수의 2진 화상 중 가장 작은 웨이트가 할당된 2진 화상으로부터 우선적으로 선택된 2진 화상으로 이루어지는 휘도 계조 표시 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 2진 화상은 서브필드로 형성되는 휘도 계조 표시 방법.
- 휘도 레벨에 대응하는 서로 다른 웨이트가 할당된 복수의 2진 화상을 시간적으로 조합하여 표시하는 화상 표시 장치로서,임의의 계조를 표시하기 위해, 선택된 상기 2진 화상의 모든 웨이트가 서로 다르며, 또한, 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 조합이 복수 있는 경우에, 상기 계조를 나타내는 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 조합은 상기 복수의 2진 화상 중 가장 작은 웨이트가 할당된 2진 화상으로부터 우선적으로 선택된 2진 화상으로 이루어지는 화상 표시 장치.
- 휘도 레벨에 대응하는 서로 다른 웨이트가 할당된 복수의 2진 화상을 시간적으로 조합하여 표시하는 화상 표시 장치로서,임의의 계조를 표시하기 위해, 상기 2진 화상의 조합이 복수 있는 경우에, 상기 계조를 나타내는 상기 복수의 2진 화상의 조합은, 상기 복수의 2진 화상 중 가장 작은 웨이트가 할당된 2진 화상으로부터 우선적으로 선택된 2진 화상으로 이루어지는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제 7 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 2진 화상은 서브필드에 의해 형성되는 화상 표시 장치.
