- 피가공물의 인코너를 절삭 가공하는 방법에 있어서,복수의 정점 및 복수의 변을 갖는 다각형상 기저면을 갖고, 상기 복수의 변의 적어도 1개가 회전 방향에서 절삭날을 갖고, 상기 절삭날이 상기 복수의 정점에서의 1개의 정점으로부터 연장되어 설치되어 있는 절삭 공구를 배치하는 공정과,상기 절삭날이 연장되는 상기 정점이 상기 피가공물의 상기 인코너의 형상에 대응해서 경로를 지나가도록, 상기 절삭 공구의 회전각에 따라서 상기 절삭 공구와 상기 피가공물을 서로 상대적으로 이동시키고 있는 동안, 상기 절삭 공구를 회전시키는 공정과,상기 절삭날의 회전축을 따라서 축방향으로 상기 절삭 공구를 움직이는 공정을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 다각형상 기저면에서의 상기 복수의 변의 각각은 상기 절삭날을 겊는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 다각형상 기저면은 N개(N은 양의 정수)의 정점 및 변을 갖고,상기 절삭 공구와 상기 피가공물 사이의 상대 이동은 상기 다각형상 기저면과 평행한 평면 속에서 행해지고,운동 궤적의 각 사이클이 상기 평면 내에서 상기 피가공물의 상기 인코너를 절삭하도록 상기 상대 이동은 상기 절삭 공구의 상기 회전축의 사이클 운동 궤적을 형성하고,상기 절삭 공구의 1/N 회전마다 상기 회전축의 사이클 운동 궤적을 1순환시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 절삭 공구의 1/N(N은 양의 정수) 회전 마다 상기 절삭 공구의 상기 회전축을 따라서 상기 절삭 공구를 축방향으로 소정 길이만큼 이동시키는 공정을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 피가공물의 상기 이동은 X축 테이블과 Y축 테이블을 동기(同期)시켜, 서로 구동시킴으로써 실행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,브레이커 홈이 상기 절삭날의 근처에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 절삭 공구와 상기 피가공물 사이의 상대 이동은 상기 다각형상 기저면과 평행한 평면 속에서 행해지고, 또한 상기 절삭 공구가 상기 회전축을 따라 상기 절삭 공구의 축방향 움직임을 하는 동안에 상기 상대 이동은 행해지지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 절삭 공구와 상기 피가공물 사이의 상대 이동은 상기 다각형상 기저면과 평행한 평면 속에서 행해지고, 또한 상기 상대 이동은 상기 절삭 공구의 상기 회전축을 따르는 상기 절삭 공구의 축방향 움직임에 대응하여 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 가공 방법.
- 기계 공구용 절삭 공구에 있어서,상기 절삭 공구의 회전축 둘레로 회전하도록 상기 기계 공구의 주축(主軸)에 착탈 가능하게 부착되는 본체를 갖고, 상기 본체는 적어도 1개의 절삭날을 갖는 다각형상 기저면을 갖고, 상기 절삭날은 상기 다각형상 기저면의 변 위에 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 절삭 공구의 회전 방향으로 상기 절삭날이 상기 다각형상 기저면의 적어도 1개의 변 위에 배치되어 있고, 상기 1개의 변 길이의 거의 1/2 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 절삭날은 상기 다각형상 기저면의 정점으로부터 상기 1개의 변 위로 연장되고,상기 절삭날의 회전 방향 후방(後方)에는 릴리프각(relief angle)(런오프각)이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구.
- 제 16 항에 있어서,상기 다각형상 기저면은 N개(N은 양의 정수)의 정점 및 변을 겊고, 상기 변의 각각은 상기 절삭날을 겊는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,브레이커 홈이 상기 절삭날의 근처에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구.
