Claims (6)
- (a) 전극층과 박막 트랜지스터가 형성되어 있는 제1기판에 스페이서를 분사하고, 이를 블랙 매트릭스, 칼라필터 및 전극층이 형성되어 있고, 그 표면에 실란트가 도포된 제2기판과 접합하여 공셀을 형성하는 단계 및 (b) 상기 공셀에 광중합성 모노머, 액정 모노머, 광중합개시제 및 가교제를 함유하는 고분자/액정 조성물을 주입한 다음, 광을 조사하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법에 있어서,상기 (b) 단계에서 상기 광경화성 모노머와 액정 모노머의 혼합비가 1:99 내지 10:90 중량비이고, 광조사시의 온도를 액정 모노머의 등방성 전이온도 범위로 유지하여 액정을 배향시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계에서 광의 강도가 1 내지 3mw로 유지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광경화성 모노머가 아크릴수지인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (b)단계에서 포토마스크를 이용하여 광을 조사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가교제가 헥산디올 디아크릴레이트, 에톡살레이티드 비스페놀 A 디아크릴레이트 및 디펜타에리트리톨 아크릴레이트로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가교제의 함량이 광경화성 모노머를 기준으로 하여 5 내지 10중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
