Claims (7)
- 재기록 가능한 디스크형 기록 매체로부터 데이터를 재생하는 장치를 포함하는 시스템으로서, 상기 기록 매체는, 상기 디스크형 기록 매체의 내주에 제공되며, 광자기 영역으로 형성되어 상기 디스크형 기록 매체에 관한 정보가 미리 기록되는 리드인 영역과, 상기 리드인 영역의 외측에 제공되며, 데이터가 기록될 수 있는 데이터 영역과, 상기 데이터 영역의 외측에 제공되며, 상기 데이터 영역의 끝을 나타내는 리드아웃 영역을 포함하며, 상기 리드인 영역 내의 상기 정보는 피트(pit)들에 의해 기록되며, 상기 데이터 영역 내의 상기 정보는 자화 방향으로 마크들(marks)에 의해 기록되며, 상기 재생 장치는, 상기 리드인 영역과, 상기 데이터 영역과, 상기 리드아웃 영역으로부터 데이터를 재생하는 광학 픽업을 포함하는, 상기 재생 장치를 포함하는 시스템에 있어서, 상기 재생 장치는, 상기 광학 픽업에 의해 재생된 신호의 레벨에 기초해서 상기 피트들 또는 광자기 영역으로부터 데이터가 재생되는지를 판별하는 판별 회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 재생 장치를 포함하는 시스템.
- 광자기 디스크 재생 장치에 있어서, 물리적 피트들에 의해 데이터가 기록되며, 리드 인 영역에 대응하는 프리마스터된 영역과, 광자기적으로 기록 가능한 데이터 영역과, 상기 데이터 영역의 외측에 방사상으로 제공되고, 소정의 패턴이 기록되며, 상기 디스크형 기록 매체 상의 수직 자화막의 자화 방향으로 표시함으로써 상기 데이터 영역의 끝을 표시하는 광자기 리드 아웃 영역을 포함하는, 재기록 가능한 디스크형 기록 매체와, 상기 디스크형 기록 매체에 대해 정보를 기록 및 재생하는 자기 헤드와, 상기 디스크형 기록 매체에 대해 정보를 기록 및 재생하는 광학 픽업과, 상기 광학 픽업이 상기 프리마스터된 영역을 추적하는지 상기 광자기 영역을 추적하는지를 결정하는 판별 수단을 포함하며, 상기 판별 수단은 가산 회로와 검파 회로와 비교기를 포함하는 광자기 디스크 재생 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광학 픽업은 상기 가산 회로에 의해 가산된 출력들을 갖는 한 쌍의 광검출기를 포함하여 합 출력 신호를 생성하며, 상기 검파 회로는 상기 합 출력 신호를 수신하여 그 레벨을 검출하며, 상기 비교기는 상기 검파 회로에 의해 검출된 상기 레벨과 소정의 레벨(predetermined level)을 비교하여, 상기 광학 픽업이 상기 리드아웃 영역 위에 위치하는지를 결정하는 광자기 디스크 재생 장치.
- 디스크형 기록 매체의 내주에 위치하는 프리마스터된 피트 영역으로 구성되는 리드 인 영역과, 데이터 영역에 기록된 데이터의 위치 정보를 관리하는 광자기 기록 가능한 광자기 영역으로 구성되는 유저 목록 영역과, 데이터가 기록되는 광자기 기록 가능한 광자기 영역으로 구성되는 상기 데이터 영역과, 상기 데이터 영역의 외측에 위치하는 광자기 기록 가능한 광자기 영역으로 구성되는 리드 아웃 영역을 순차적으로 내주에서 외주로 향해 배치한 디스크형 기록 매체를 재생하는 재생 장치에 있어서, 상기 디스크형 기록 매체에 광을 조사하는 광학 픽업과, 상기 광학 픽업으로부터 조사된 조사광의 디스크형 기록 매체로부터의 반사광을 검지하는 광검지 수단과, 상기 광검지 수단에서 검지한 반사광에 기초해서, 제1 재생 신호를 생성하는 제1 재생 신호 생성 수단과, 상기 광검지 수단에서 검지한 반사광에 기초해서, 제2 재생 신호를 생성하는 제2 재생 신호 생성 수단과, 상기 프리마스터 영역을 상기 광학 픽업이 추적하고 있는지, 상기 광자기 영역을 상기 광학 픽업이 추적하고 있는지를 판별하는 영역 판별 수단과, 상기 영역 판별 수단의 판별 결과에 기초해서, 상기 제1 재생 신호 생성 수단과 상기 제2 재생 신호 생성 수단을 선택적으로 절환하는 절환 수단을 포함하는 재생 장치.
- 미리 마스터링된 프리마스터 영역으로 구성되는 리드 인 영역과, 광자기 기록 가능한 광자기 영역으로 구성되는 데이터 영역과, 광자기 기록 가능한 광자기 영역으로 구성되는 리드 아웃 영역을 내주에서 외주로 향해 설치한 디스크형 기록 매체를 재생하는 재생 장치에 있어서, 상기 디스크형 기록 매체에 광을 조사하는 광학 픽업과, 상기 광학 픽업으로부터 조사된 조사광의 디스크형 기록 매체로부터의 반사광을 검지하는 광검지 수단과, 상기 광검지 수단에서의 반사광에 기초해서 재생 신호를 생성하는 제1 재생 신호 생성 수단과, 상기 광검지 수단에서의 반사광에 기초해서 재생 신호를 생성하는 제2 재생 신호 생성 수단과, 상기 프리마스터 영역을 광학 픽업이 추적하고 있는지, 상기 광자기 영역을 광학 픽업이 추적하고 있는지를 판별하는 영역 판별 수단과, 상기 영역 판별 수단의 판별 결과에 기초해서, 상기 제1 재생 신호 생성 수단으로부터의 재생 신호와 상기 제2 재생 신호 생성 수단으로부터의 재생 신호를 선택적으로 절환하는 절환 수단을 포함하는 재생 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 영역 판별 수단은, 상기 광검지 수단에서의 반사광에 기초해서 픽업이 추적하고 있는 영역을 판별하는 재생 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 리드인 영역에는 관리 정보가 기록됨과 동시에 상기 광자기 영역에는 어드레스 정보가 미리 기록되어 있으며, 상기 관리 정보와 어드레스 정보에 기초해서, 상기 영역 판별 수단은 현재 픽업이 추적하고 있는 영역을 판별하는 재생 장치.
