Description
Claims (22)
- 배향막이 도포된 기판에 1차 배향처리를 하여 1차 배향방향을 결정하는 단계와,상기한 배향막의 일부를 개구부와 블록킹부로 나뉘어진 이동가능한 마스크로 블로킹한 상태에서 마스크의 개구부에 2차 배향처리하여 2차 배향방향을 결정하는 단계로 이루어진 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 금속으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기한 금속이 스테인레스 스틸인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 중합체로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 두께가 50㎛ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1배향방향과 제2배향방향이 서로 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 개구부 사이에 일정한 마진을 가지고 있는 마스크인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 일정한 마진만큼 이동하여 2차배향처리를 실시하여 2차배향방향을 결정하는 단계를 추가로 구성하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 제1배향방향으로 배향방향이 결정된 도메인과 제2배향방향으로 배향방향이 결정된 도메인의 면적이 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 개구부 사이의 마진의 길이가 개구부 길이의 1/2인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 접착자재한 마스크를 사용하여 배향막의 제1도메인에 1차배향방향을 결정하는 단계와,접착자재한 마스크를 사용하여 배향막의 제2도메인에 2차배향방향을 결정하는 단계와,접착자재한 마스크를 사용하여 배향막의 제3도메인에 3차배향방향을 결정하는 단계와,접착자재한 마스크를 사용하여 배향막의 제4도메인에 4차배향방향을 결정하는 단계로 이루어진 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 금속으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기한 금속이 스테인레스 스틸인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 중합체로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 두께가 50㎛ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정셀의 배향방향 제어방법.
- 액정셀의 배향방향 제어를 위해 사용되는 마스크에 있어서, 복수의 개구부를 가지고, 상기한 개구부의 사이에 일정한 마진을 가진 화소분할용 마스크.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 금속으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 화소분할용 마스크.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기한 금속이 스테인레스 스틸인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소분할용 마스크.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크가 중합체로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 화소분할용 마스크.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 두께가 50㎛ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소분할용 마스크.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 개구부가 전체마스크 면적의 1/4인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소분할용 마스크.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기한 마스크의 개구부가 전체마스크 면적의 1/3인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소분할용 마스크.
