Claims (12)
- 레이다 시스템에 있어서, 복수의 복귀 신호들의 진폭 및 각도 위치를 결정하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 레이다 수신기; 및 상기 복귀 신호들 중에서 타겟들 및 클러터(clutter)를 식별하기 위한 것으로서, 상기 복귀 신호들의 진폭 및 각도 위치들의 테스트 함수를 형성하기 위한 수단, 및 상기 테스트 함수를 임계값과 비교하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 식별 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 식별 수단은 상기 테스트 함수를 형성하고 상기 테스트 함수와 상기 임계값을 비교하도록 구성된 컴퓨터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테스트 함수를 형성하는 수단은 상기 복수의 복귀 신호들에 대해 평균 진폭값을 결정하는 수단, 및 상기 복수의 복귀 신호들에 대해 평균 각도 위치값을 결정하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 테스트 함수를 형성하는 수단은 테스트 복귀 신호에 대한 상기 테스트 함수를, 상기 테스트 복귀 신호의 진폭 및 각도 위치와, 상기 평균 진폭값 및 상기 평균 각도 위치값의 함수로서 형성하는 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테스트 함수를 형성하는 수단은 미리 선택된 기준값에 대해 각도 위치를 결정하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테스트 함수를 형성하는 수단은, θ는 테스트 복귀 신호의 각도 위치, θ1은 조합된 타겟 및 클러터 복귀로부터의 기대 파워 중심, σ1은 θ1의 표준편차, θ0는 클러터의 평균 각도, σ0은 θ0의 표준 편차, R은 테스트 복귀 신호의 진폭, RO 2은 클러터의 평균 파워, 및 Rτ 2은 타겟의 기대 파워라 할 때,A=EXP-(θ-θ1/σ1)2×R/(R0 2+RT 2)×EXP-(R2/2(R0 2+RT 2)), 및B=EXP-(θ-θ0/σ0)2×R/R0 2×EXP-(R2/2(R0 2))인 함수 A/B와 실제적으로 동일한 함수를 형성하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 타겟들 및 클러터를 식별하기 위한 수단은 복수의 샘플 파워값들을 제공하기 위해 상기 복귀 신호를 샘플링하는 수단, 및 상기 복수의 샘플 파워값들로부터 상기 임계값을 형성하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 타겟들 및 클러터를 식별하기 위한 수단은 복수의 각도 위치값들을 제공하기 위해 상기 복귀 신호를 샘플링하는 수단, 및 상기 복수의 각도 위치값들로부터 상기 임계값을 형성하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 레이다 시스템은 레이다 송신기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테스트 함수는 진폭들 및 각도 위치들의 조합된 테스트 함수인 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테스트 함수는 진폭들 및 각도 위치들의 개별 테스트 함수인 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템.
- 레이다 시스템에서 타겟 복귀 신호들을 식별하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 잠재적인 타겟 및 클러터를 포함하는 복수의 레이다 복귀 신호들의 진폭 및 각도 위치값들을 구하는 단계; 임계값을 결정하는 단계; 상기 복귀 신호들의 진폭들 및 각도 위치들의 테스트 함수를 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 테스트 함수와 상기 임계값을 비교하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이다 시스템의 타겟 식별 방법.
