Abstract

본 고안은 승용차의 사이드 도어내에 가로질러 설치되는 임팩트 빔 양단을 고정하기 위한 임팩트 빔 브래킷에 관한 것이다.
본 고안은 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷을 강성이 높은 형상으로 변경하여 측면충돌시 차체의 변형을 방지하고 승객을 보호하기 위하여, 임팩트 빔(2)이 삽입될 수 있는 빔 삽입 비드(3)와 이 빔 삽입 비드(3) 주변에 #형 비드(4)를 가로하중에 대한 강성을 갖도록 비딩가공으로 형성시킨 것이다.

본 고안은 승용차의 사이드 도어내에 가로질러 설치되는 임팩트 빔 양단을 고정하기 위한 임팩트 빔 브래킷에 관한 것이다.
임팩트 빔은 통상 승용차의 사이드 도어 하부에서 도어 외측 패널 내면과 접하도록 가로질러 설치되고 차량의 측면충돌시 충격에너지의 흡수기능을 수행한다.
종래에는 제4도와 같이 도어 외측 패널(21) 내면과 접하는 임팩트 빔(22)의 양단을 평판의 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(23)으로 용접하고 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(23)의 일단을 도어 내측 패널(24) 내면의 단차부에 용접하였다.
그러나 도어 임팩트 빔 프래킷(23)이 평판으로 이루어져 있기 때문에 임팩트 빔(22)에 비하여 강도가 약하여 측면충돌시 도어 임팩트 빔 프래킷(23)이 1차로 휘어지는 문제를 가지고 있었다.
이렇게 임팩트 빔(22)보다 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(23)이 먼저 휘어지면 임팩트 빔(22)이 본래의 기능을 수행하지 못하고 밀려들어가 차체의 손상은 물론 승객 상해치를 높이는 결과를 초래하게 된다.
본 고안의 목적은 도어 임팩트 빔 프래킷을 강성이 높은 형상으로 변경하여 측면충돌시 차체의 변형을 방지하고 승객을 보호코자 하는데 있는 것이다.
본 고안은 상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 임팩트 빔이 삽입될 수 있는 빔 삽입 비드와 이 빔 삽입 비드 주변에 #형 비드를 가로하중에 대한 강성을 갖도록 비딩가공으로 형성시킨 것이다.
이하 본 고안의 실시예를 도면에 의하여 설명한다.
제1도는 본 고안의 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(1,1')이 임팩트 빔(2) 양측에 용접된 상태를 나타낸 것이다.
도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(1,1')은 제3도와 같이 일측에 임팩트 빔(2)이 삽입될 수 있는 빔 삽입 비드(3)가 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(1,1')의 가로방향으로 1/2지점까지 형성되어 있고, 부분적으로 상기 빔 삽입 비드(3)를 통과하는 #형 또는 바둑판 모양의 #형 비드(4)가 상기 빔 삽입 비드(3) 주변에 가로와 세로방향으로 형성되어 있다.
다시말해, 빔 삽입 비드(3)와 #형 비드(4)는 임팩트 빔(2)이 있는 쪽을 정면으로 할 때 뒤쪽으로 원호단면의 홈을 형성하며 들어가게 구성되고, 이러한 형성은 비딩가공(beading)에 의하여 이루어진다.
제2도는 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷(1')의 설치상태를 나타낸 것으로서, 빔 삽입 비드(3)내에는 임팩트 빔(2)의 일단이 삽입된 후 용접되고 빔 삽입 비드(3)의 반대편은 도어 내측 패널(5) 내면의 단차부에 용접된다.
따라서, 측면충돌시에 도어 임팩트 빔 프래킷(1,1')에 가로하중이 걸리게 되더라도 빔 삽입 비드(3)와 #형 비드(4)의 강성에 의하여 쉽게 가로변형되지 않고 임팩트 빔(2)을 지지하게 되는 것이다.
이와 같은 본 고안은 빔 삽입 비드와 #형 비드를 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷상에 형성시키므로서, 종래에 필러부 강성을 위해 고가의 임팩트 빔 길이를 증대하던 것을 상대적으로 저가인 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷을 보강하여 달성할 수 있어 코스트 절감 및 강도향상이 이루어지고, 이에 따라 차량에 적용시 임팩트 빔의 기능을 충실히 발휘할 수 있도록 하므로서 측면충돌시 차체의 변형을 방지하고 승객을 보호할 수 있게 되는 것이다.

  1. 임팩트 빔이 삽입될 수 있는 빔 삽입 비드와 이 빔 삽입 비드 주변에 #형 비드를 가로하중에 대한 강성을 갖도록 비딩가공으로 형성시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 도어 임팩트 빔 브래킷.
