Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the suction of a refrigerant in a heat exchanger outside vehicle room without providing a solenoid valve by shutting off an engine cooling-water flow rate regulating valve and shutting off a pressure reducing device for a water-refrigerant heat exchanger when an engine cooling water which is fed into a hot-water type heater is above a defined temperature. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a heating operation, a refrigerant flows in a refrigerant system circuit as shown by the dotted arrow, radiates heat in a heat exchanger C inside vehicle room, absorbs the heat of an engine cooling water in a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 32, and is vaporized and returned to compressor 20. In this case, when the water temperature of a heater core 36 is above a defined temperature with a refrigerant pressure in a heat exchanger 23 outside vehicle room being above a defined pressure, a flow rate regulating valve 33 is closed by means of a control circuit 60, to stop the feed of cooling water into the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 32 while shutting off an expansion valve 30. Thereby, pressures in the heat exchanger 32 and the suction port 20a of the compressor 20 are lowered, to suck in the refrigerant in the heat exchanger 23 outside vehicle room. Hence, a solenoid valve is not necessary.
