Abstract
PURPOSE:To always obtain a reproduced waveform having high reproducibility and being free from a wiggle by allowing a current to flow to a coil of a magnetic head at the time of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reproduction, a current is allowed to flow to a coil of a thin film head, and the thin film magnetic head is magnetized to the extent that a medium is not demagnetized. In this regard, this thin film head is a head which has used an Ni-Fe alloy as a magnetic pole material, and a current which is allowed to flow in a DC current. In such a way, when the thin film head is magnetized, the reproducibility of a magnetic domain structure of a magnetic pole is improved, that is, the same magnetic state comes to be reproduced easily, therefore, the generation of a wiggle can be suppressed. In such a way, the high recording density can be realized.
