Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce noises by synchronizing the clock of a computer which controls a system with the clock of a microcomputer which control a power source or using the same clock as the both. CONSTITUTION:Processing in the microcomputer 4b is performed with a signal from an oscillator 4a. A high-voltage power source unit 6 receives serial data from a copying process control unit 4 and changes the switching conditions of a converter 6a according to the data to turn on or off its output or varies the output value. The output of the converter 6a is fed back to the input of the microcomputer 6b in the high-voltage power source unit 6 and controlled to a target value. This microcomputer 6b operates by using a signal from the oscillator 4a in the copying process control unit 4 as a clock. Consequently, higher harmonics due to mutual interference are not generated and noises are reduced.
