Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce quicklime for warming sake (Japanese alcoholic drink) can, etc., generating heat by reacting with water, and eliminating breakage of the can due to expansion of volume of the can when water is added to the quicklime to generate heat, by forming hydrated lime in a granular shape and thereafter, by calcining at a low temp. to release its water of crystallization when the quicklime is produced. CONSTITUTION:When an agent for simply warming sake can made of Al by using heat generated due to the reaction of quicklime with water, is produced, hydrated lime obtd. by adding water to quicklime obtd. by calcining quicklime at a high temp. is used as raw material, formed in granules as uniform as possible having 1-5mm, etc. particle size since the hydrated lime expanded its volume and became fine powder when produced, and thereafter, released the water of crystallization by calcining at a comparatively low temp., >=600 deg.C to produce the quicklime. When it is used as agent for warming, the granule does not expand in generating heat and therefore, no breakage of Al can due to expansion occurs, because the raw material, the hydrated lime expanded from the first.
