Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the stationary stabilization of magnetic characteristics by interposing a heat radiating material having a good thermal conductivity between at least either of a head substrate or protective plate and a magneto- resistance effect element. CONSTITUTION:The heat radiating material 11 having the good thermal conductivity to transfer and diffuse the heat generated by the magneto-resistance effect element 4 is interposed between at least either of the head substrate 12 or the protective plate 13 and the magneto-resistance effect element 4. Gold, copper, or silver, etc., are selected as the material 11. The heat generated by the electric resistance of the magneto-resistance effect element 4 is efficiently transferred ad diffused by the material 11 and, therefore, the magnetic characteristics of a magnetic head 14 are stationarily stabilized.
