Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance uniform reproduction performance of a dot image by using a conductive filler specified in particle diameter distribution. CONSTITUTION:The conductive filler to be added to the surface layer of a developer bearing body has an average particle diameter of <=40mum, and contains 95% of the total particles in the particle diameter range of 20-60mmu, and it has a standard deviation sigmaX of <=0.1mmu as the distance between the nearest particles, thus permitting the surface layer to be made uniform in resistance, and a copy superior in uniform reproduction performance of a dot image to be obtained.
