Abstract

CONSTITUTION:At the time of melting and refining the scrap 8 in the reaction vessel (converter) 5 providing the oxygen blowing lance 3 at upper part, this lance 3 is rotated by using the rotating device as centering the axial center to supply the oxygen, and the melting of the scrap 8 is executed. Then, it is desirable that the rotating speed of the top blowing lance 3 is adjusted to about o-2pi radian/sec. By this method, the hanging phenomenon is prevented and the efficiency of the using energy is improved and the stable melting of the scrap 8 is executed.
