Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester laminate superior in abrasion resistance, water resistance and weather ability, by a method wherein a liquid matter containing a (meta) acrylic acid ester polymer within a molecule of which polyester resin and an epoxy group are contained and that containing an organic silane compound are applied respectively to the surface of a polyester film base material and the outside of the surface of the polyester film base material for the formation of a first layer and second layer respectively. CONSTITUTION:A liquid matter containing a (meta) acrylic acid ester polymer within a molecule of which polyester resin and an epoxy group are contained is applied to the surface of a polyester film base material of 10-500mum thick, cured and a first layer is formed. The title laminate is a polyester laminate composed by possessing the first layer and a second layer formed on an outside surface adjoining to the first layer by applying a liquid matter containing an organic silane compound especially the liquid matter containing a partial hydrolyzed matter of a silicon compound to the outside surface and curing the same. The first layer acts as an improvement layer for adhesion between a polyester film and the second layer, a composition mainly composed of silicon resin and inorganic particles is coated and cured on the first layer, which acts as an improvement layer of abrasion resistant properties.
