Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate deviation from a track when a marker system is employed, by providing a constant-length correction zone, composed of an optical tape or electromagnetic guide line, between suitable optional marks. CONSTITUTION:A correction zone 10 is formed by providing a constant-length optical tape or electromagnetic guide line and a vehicle is equipped with a photosensor or magnetic sensor which detects the zone. The vehicle 3 passing by many marks successively, if deviating from its running route between some detected mark M4 and next mark M5 owing to the integration of detection errors in a mark entry angle theta, deviation l and run distance obtained up to now, is returned to the route by correcting the moving attitude of the vehicle 3 and the entry angle theta to the next mark M5 and deviation l are set to zero.
